ASTRAL DOORS' NILS PATRIK JOHANSSON & JOACHIM NORDLUND talk new album, side projects, writing, more

Joachim is a guitarist and co-founder of Astral Doors, and has also been involved in a melodic rock side project called Dreams Of Avalon.
Nils Patrik Johansson has been the lead singer for a number of successful metal bands including Lion’s Share, Wuthering Heights, and Civil War. He has also done work as a solo artist. And of course, he is the singer and co-founder for Astral Doors.
In this interview, Joachim & Patrik talk about their writing process, the details of the new record The End Of It All, the spectacular cover art and its message, and how simply getting a beer inspired a song.
The band is celebrating more than two decades together by releasing their tenth album. It is called The End Of It All and it comes out on October 18th on Metalville Records.
