And that a digimon thats not fully Evolved or thats what happens when you don't take care or him because he has some crap around him then I cleaned it so if this happen because you don't take care of it should I reset and start it all over??
laz tej sounds like your partner evolved. Is it the English version of the device? If so, you can the digimons name on the first page of the first menu on the device. It sounds like you got Numemon. But Numemon can still evolve to ultimate if you take good care of it 👍🏻

After growing up relatively humble, my parents could never really afford things like this. So when I heard about the rerelease, I thought it was a cool idea but I had kinda outgrown it at the ripe old age of 31… until 2 weeks ago when I impulse bought 2 DMXs and a 20th. Your videos have been so helpful, learning how to navigate these surprisingly complex little devices. Reliving the childhood with adult money isn’t all that bad after all! 😂

you can also if you have 2 digivice just restart one and change name each time for the 5 unique tamer names and there are 2 eggs you need the zubamon and omnimon digivice for those were japan exclusive digivices

I just got my first digi20th digivice yesterday :D its the glow in the dark one and I know next to nothing about these but I love battling in the tournament and training and I had absolutely no idea the power meter in battles actually matters. I always go full power and sometimes I'd lose anyway. This video taught me about changing tactics and critical hits. And I also had no idea they could eat past the 4 hearts. Thank you for this informative video. Right now I have an agumon and a tanemon :)

Ohh lucky... all my friends keep calling them retarded stupid things and making fun of me for buying them but I own to myself and am struggling to get the connect thing to work between them so it’s hard to even give one to my friends temporarily to battle myself to get them better. @@DigitalDream09 thank you but I’ve been to tons of places were you can buy them and I’ve read the intire manual and looked on the internet and an employee at RV games said someone else had the same problem but they never got to ask how they fixed it because they didn’t come back plus mine are now missing and I was raising specials on both devices so thank you and I will keep trying when I get ahold of them(BTW love your vids and they were definitely old enough(that was something you forgot to mention in this vid) but yeah byeee) Edit: not RV games it’s EB games

Hi and thank you! it's nice to see someone so dedicated to this guides and helping others. Yesterday I got my first vpet, I had wanted one for a long time. The watch tip has seriously saved me, I was kinda worried that I wouldn't be able to take care of it while I was at college (I bought it despite that xD), but now I'm relieved. The only thing that worries me a bit is that yesterday my koromon went to sleep around 9pm (in real time), but I set my clock 3 hours ahead so for the vpet it was 12. Today when I check at around 10am he was already agumon and he had many piles of poop and was sick! I was hoping to find the sleepy Koromon who went to sleep, so I think I was wrong about the clock or how much it sleeps but yeah guess I'll figure it out eventually. Greetings !

Few years later but I'm only just now getting around to getting one. I tried once before when I got lucky and found one in stock at Wal-Mart but a week later when I got paid it was already sold. So here I am, finally about to get one soon.

Just ordered 2 glow in the dark versions of these. I got one for myself, and the second one is going to be a gift for my brother for his birthday along with a Casio F-84w watch. Can't wait to get mine and try it out.
Amazon had these things on sale recently and it just so happened that my favorite color (green with orange trimming) was the cheapest. I picked it up for less than $9 shipped :) lol been kind of wanting to pick one of these things up forever...just for the nostalgia.
This helped a lot, always wanted to get one of these when I was a kid but never got to it. I just preordered the Digimon color monster hunter collab and I order some 20th v pets for me and my fiancé to try out, super excited!
The brown one was my original one when they first came out. I bought a new one a few months ago and just finally decided to open it, today! I can't wait to play it religiously at work and when I'm trying to sleep. XD
There's actually some small differences in the japanese ones, being mostly the bonus digieggs that you can unlock, such as agumon anime version and all that. Good guide!
I just found that this re-release exist a few days ago, in Europe they were never released or at least not on my country. I've been waiting for years for Bandai to release new (or the same old fashioned) Digimon vpets! So I just bought a pair online, a grey (the same I had as a kid) and a glow (I like green and it was the more striking one IMHO). Maybe I will add one of each remaining waves too. I can't imagine what my reaction would have been if I had found those available in a store by surprise. Why did you had to make it so difficult, Bandai? :(
I just found out about it two days ago by surprise while walking through the toy section at Walmart. There were 10 on the shelf and I grabbed 2. But knowing I need another 4 to get the special egg for connecting to 5 devices, I'm going to do that today. They were $19.99 + tax here in Texas, USA
This will help people get into the devices if are new to it all. I played alot of the classics and i found all the extra menus pretty daunting at first so i imagine what a new raiser must feel. Scared it would put them off. I noticed wave 2 english versions have shown up for release on amazon america. In translucent yellow, green, blue and purple. So timing of this guide is spot on. Hopefully more fresh recruits will find this video.

I got mine at the Wholesale Club I work at around last Christmas as part of a congratulatory thing for me both getting my Learner's Permit, and sticking with that job for over a year. I raised a BlitzGreymon and a CresGarurumon and Jogressed them to get Omegamon Alter-S.
this is awesome. I used to play with these when i was young (im 32 now). I had the weirdest urge to play with one today and i looked it up and i just learned that they have these 20th anniversary editions! Whats the difference between these and the old ones? I wish i still had my original ones
These have waaaayyyy more features than the old ones. The old ones are brilliant but very basic, just one egg, feed, train and battle other devices. This has the option to raise two mons at once, it has an in-game battle feature, loads of different eggs to raise. It’s really cool. If you liked the originals, you’ll love these 🤘🏻
I know with the Tamagotchi On device you need to connect to two other devices to unlock a specific location. I just have the two On devices so I have my main one and my secondary. What I do is I connect them together, then reset my secondary then connect them again once it's old enough and that works. I've never had a Digimon before, but maybe it'd be the same for this Digimon?
Kinda wish they made a manual, but this was helpful, I didn't even know you could influence the training and battles and I had to update the time because I accidently set it wrong for the time zone I'm in lol thank you.

Just wanted to say I barely ran into ur videos and I wish I found them sooner been a big fan of Digimon for a very long time and always wanted a digivice of my own since the ones I had as a child were long lost your channel is the new highlight at a childhood passion of mine
I'm happy to report that I got a 20th anniversery in Canada and so far it has the classic spelling of the names. Machinedramon, and even Huckmon who was renamed "Hackmon". I'm excited to see if Teddymon and Omnimon's names remane intact as well!

Brilliantly informative video! A couple of questions: Are there specific first eggs/Digimon assigned to the various waves and versions of the device? If you have more than one Digimon active on a device, do they have the same bedtime?
Thank you! - All of them start with the “Ver.1” egg on the first run. - nope! They still have individual bedtimes, but you can make the other one nap so that they’ll sleep at the same time
My second digimon just died for no reason. Both of my digimon had full hearts in all boxes. All of a sudden it started to play the death tune and killed the second digimon I had. I should have known something was wrong because when I had both digimon on screen and fed / gave protein pills the digimon on the left ate them but the digimon on the right side had it’s sad face. But I made sure to check both digimons hearts would fill up. I just assumed it was some glitch. A few times the call light came on over the last few days even though they had full hearts, no sickness or I injury and they were perfectly clean. Have you experienced anything like this?
If you have 2 vpets you can reset one and change the name raise a Digimon until they can battle and connect to the other device. Reset and do it 4 more times and you'll unlock the egg with 2 devices instead of buying 6 ;)
Amazing video, this made me decide to buy my first Tamagotchi digimon. First, I saw this 20th aniversary brown edition at GameStop, but wasn’t sure to get it because I only owned the regular tamagotchi series. After watching this video, I returned and bought this. Started to play 3 days ago and just right now my digimon evolved to greymon. I hope to get wargreymon some day because it’s my favorite. Also, I wish I could connect easily with others to get the special egg and hatch the other agumon.
Legendary guide! One question i have that i havent been able to find an answer to; do you unlock all the version 2-5 digimon after 1 version 1 adult? Or do you unlock the, in order once per adult digimon? Or is it random? Hope you see this and have an answer, thanks again fir the guide, it cleared up a bunch of questions
Yeah, all ver1-5 eggs are already there. When you first start the device you hatch a ver.1, but when you reach rookie you get the option to hatch your 2nd egg and you can pick any of the ver1-5 at that point 🤘🏻
Lol gosh getting my DMX Black and Red has definitely brought nostalgia back when the Original v=pets came out. I am now thinking of buying these as they came out in English. However before I do that, I know this video is super old. But I have a question after looking at the Exclusives chart and the DM20th that is available in amazon. I was thinking of getting Lunamon or Coronomon DM20ths. But I am not sure if those two Digimon are the only ONES in the devices, or they added Coronomon and Lunamon onto the roster when they get their version of the DM20th. Can you still raise other digimon along with them? OR it is just Luanmon and Coronomon the only Digimon you raise? Thanks in advance for answering my question IF you see it of course eheh...TH-cam comments has been glitching out past few days. But yeah is it just those two Digimon on the device, or you can raise them with the other Digimon that's in the device?
The special eggs (Coronamon, Lunamon etc) are additional eggs, so you still get all ver1-5 eggs and a few others. The special eggs are only unlocked by connecting to 5 uniquely named devices, so I shouldn’t worry too much about the special eggs
Ok so for those people who have gotten this dm20th at target for $5 what section of target do you find them in? I have searched 3 different targets in my local area and have not found a single one. I look in the section with the tamagachis and the giga pets but there is never anything else in that area and when I ask the associates they have no clue what I'm talking about even when I show them pictures of the product and they aren't listen on the target website. Any and all help will be appreciated I'm a huge digimon fan and this is my first vpet and would love to get more especially for $5 a pop!
@@JuicyGabe11 originally I found them over by the TCG/collectables, but since I bought them out they put a new batch of them out over on one of the endcaps in toys, at a different target they had the TCG/Collectibles over near electronics near the POP figures and pop culture merch and they were basically on the bottom shelf there, also the restock at my local target had only the translucent gold, while the out of town one had only wave 1 yellows

Got the glow-in-the-dark model just recently. I now have a Devimon and an Angemon. What's funny is that Devimon's sprite animations include a cute little smile, while Angemon looks totally freaky whenever he opens his mouth. Not at all what I expected.
How can Bandai don't want to upgrade their Digivice into a new one? This is 2021. Lots of improvement can be made. They should take the advantage of the technology now when the Digivice market is still high. I mean, look at handphones now. They evolve every year into a better one. Why can't a simple 2D Digivice be upgraded? Change the graphics into a HD graphics. With 360 views of your Digimon. Touchscreen. 3D sound. And lots more you can think of. Basically, why don't they create a gadget that is similar capability to a phone, but purposely made only to become a Digivice? Damn, I would definitely buy them. Everyone would.

It doesn't affect gameplay as far as I know bit here goes: A digimon's age is listed as "A" and it's weight as "g". What does the A mean? Also is "g" grams...or gigabytes?
I got my digivice this week. Twice I put my digimon to sleep during the night before I sleep, only for them to die while I’ve slept in the night. How do I prevent this from happening? The clock has been set to the right time so I don’t know how else I can keep them from dying

@@thewierdantagoniser9449 when you connect them for battle, you have to press B (middle button) on one of the devices to initiate the battle.

Few years later but I'm only just now getting around to getting one. I tried once before when I got lucky and found one in stock at Wal-Mart but a week later when I got paid it was already sold. So here I am, finally about to get one soon.

There's actually some small differences in the japanese ones, being mostly the bonus digieggs that you can unlock, such as agumon anime version and all that. Good guide!
You can get those depending on the colors you pick.

I just found that this re-release exist a few days ago, in Europe they were never released or at least not on my country. I've been waiting for years for Bandai to release new (or the same old fashioned) Digimon vpets!
So I just bought a pair online, a grey (the same I had as a kid) and a glow (I like green and it was the more striking one IMHO). Maybe I will add one of each remaining waves too.

I just found out about it two days ago by surprise while walking through the toy section at Walmart. There were 10 on the shelf and I grabbed 2. But knowing I need another 4 to get the special egg for connecting to 5 devices, I'm going to do that today. They were $19.99 + tax here in Texas, USA
This will help people get into the devices if are new to it all. I played alot of the classics and i found all the extra menus pretty daunting at first so i imagine what a new raiser must feel. Scared it would put them off.
I noticed wave 2 english versions have shown up for release on amazon america. In translucent yellow, green, blue and purple. So timing of this guide is spot on. Hopefully more fresh recruits will find this video.

this is awesome. I used to play with these when i was young (im 32 now). I had the weirdest urge to play with one today and i looked it up and i just learned that they have these 20th anniversary editions! Whats the difference between these and the old ones? I wish i still had my original ones
These have waaaayyyy more features than the old ones. The old ones are brilliant but very basic, just one egg, feed, train and battle other devices. This has the option to raise two mons at once, it has an in-game battle feature, loads of different eggs to raise. It’s really cool. If you liked the originals, you’ll love these 🤘🏻

I know with the Tamagotchi On device you need to connect to two other devices to unlock a specific location. I just have the two On devices so I have my main one and my secondary. What I do is I connect them together, then reset my secondary then connect them again once it's old enough and that works. I've never had a Digimon before, but maybe it'd be the same for this Digimon?
Yep that works! Just gotta make sure you “name” the device something different each time 👍🏻

I'm happy to report that I got a 20th anniversery in Canada and so far it has the classic spelling of the names. Machinedramon, and even Huckmon who was renamed "Hackmon". I'm excited to see if Teddymon and Omnimon's names remane intact as well!

- nope! They still have individual bedtimes, but you can make the other one nap so that they’ll sleep at the same time

My second digimon just died for no reason. Both of my digimon had full hearts in all boxes. All of a sudden it started to play the death tune and killed the second digimon I had. I should have known something was wrong because when I had both digimon on screen and fed / gave protein pills the digimon on the left ate them but the digimon on the right side had it’s sad face. But I made sure to check both digimons hearts would fill up. I just assumed it was some glitch. A few times the call light came on over the last few days even though they had full hearts, no sickness or I injury and they were perfectly clean. Have you experienced anything like this?

If you have 2 vpets you can reset one and change the name raise a Digimon until they can battle and connect to the other device. Reset and do it 4 more times and you'll unlock the egg with 2 devices instead of buying 6 ;)

Amazing video, this made me decide to buy my first Tamagotchi digimon. First, I saw this 20th aniversary brown edition at GameStop, but wasn’t sure to get it because I only owned the regular tamagotchi series. After watching this video, I returned and bought this. Started to play 3 days ago and just right now my digimon evolved to greymon. I hope to get wargreymon some day because it’s my favorite.
Also, I wish I could connect easily with others to get the special egg and hatch the other agumon.

One question i have that i havent been able to find an answer to; do you unlock all the version 2-5 digimon after 1 version 1 adult? Or do you unlock the, in order once per adult digimon? Or is it random?

You unlock them all once you get 1 digimon to child. You get another egg. And you press both A and C to then pick an egg from versions 1-5
Yeah, all ver1-5 eggs are already there. When you first start the device you hatch a ver.1, but when you reach rookie you get the option to hatch your 2nd egg and you can pick any of the ver1-5 at that point 🤘🏻
Lol gosh getting my DMX Black and Red has definitely brought nostalgia back when the Original v=pets came out. I am now thinking of buying these as they came out in English.
However before I do that, I know this video is super old. But I have a question after looking at the Exclusives chart and the DM20th that is available in amazon. I was thinking of getting Lunamon or Coronomon DM20ths. But I am not sure if those two Digimon are the only ONES in the devices, or they added Coronomon and Lunamon onto the roster when they get their version of the DM20th.
Can you still raise other digimon along with them? OR it is just Luanmon and Coronomon the only Digimon you raise? Thanks in advance for answering my question IF you see it of course eheh...TH-cam comments has been glitching out past few days.

The special eggs (Coronamon, Lunamon etc) are additional eggs, so you still get all ver1-5 eggs and a few others. The special eggs are only unlocked by connecting to 5 uniquely named devices, so I shouldn’t worry too much about the special eggs

Ok so for those people who have gotten this dm20th at target for $5 what section of target do you find them in? I have searched 3 different targets in my local area and have not found a single one. I look in the section with the tamagachis and the giga pets but there is never anything else in that area and when I ask the associates they have no clue what I'm talking about even when I show them pictures of the product and they aren't listen on the target website. Any and all help will be appreciated I'm a huge digimon fan and this is my first vpet and would love to get more especially for $5 a pop!
@@JuicyGabe11 originally I found them over by the TCG/collectables, but since I bought them out they put a new batch of them out over on one of the endcaps in toys, at a different target they had the TCG/Collectibles over near electronics near the POP figures and pop culture merch and they were basically on the bottom shelf there, also the restock at my local target had only the translucent gold, while the out of town one had only wave 1 yellows

You only raise two Digimon at a time. When one dies you can hatch out your next egg by pressing A&B at the same time 👍🏻
So you dont have a choice at some point he is gonna die ? Even if I succed to take extra care out of him he can live undefinitively?

Got the glow-in-the-dark model just recently. I now have a Devimon and an Angemon. What's funny is that Devimon's sprite animations include a cute little smile, while Angemon looks totally freaky whenever he opens his mouth. Not at all what I expected.

How can Bandai don't want to upgrade their Digivice into a new one? This is 2021. Lots of improvement can be made. They should take the advantage of the technology now when the Digivice market is still high. I mean, look at handphones now. They evolve every year into a better one. Why can't a simple 2D Digivice be upgraded? Change the graphics into a HD graphics. With 360 views of your Digimon. Touchscreen. 3D sound. And lots more you can think of. Basically, why don't they create a gadget that is similar capability to a phone, but purposely made only to become a Digivice? Damn, I would definitely buy them. Everyone would.

A digimon's age is listed as "A" and it's weight as "g". What does the A mean? Also is "g" grams...or gigabytes?

I got my digivice this week. Twice I put my digimon to sleep during the night before I sleep, only for them to die while I’ve slept in the night. How do I prevent this from happening? The clock has been set to the right time so I don’t know how else I can keep them from dying
