張國榮和黎小田跑步 1985 & 1989 演唱會 [三個版本]

- In 1985, Leslie Cheung always teased Michael Lai Siu-Tin about him being unfit, thus gave Leslie an idea a way that Michael could exercise and that was to sing 藍色憂郁 because it was upbeat and Michael claims to like this song, and the very same happened in 1989 (Leslie Farewell Concert). This very exact song (藍色憂郁) was used in Leslie Hand Shaking Medley (觀眾握手), Leslie's farewell concert consists of 33 shows (1 show for every night of his life... Leslie was 33 at that time, which made him decide to have 33 shows) .. But during this medley, Leslie would attempt to get Michael out of the Instrument Section and requests that he should run with him, in which Michael did, but only ran for 3 nights and never ran the other 30 shows. .. After the first time running in 1985, Michael felt he wasn't going to make it, but by the last show, Michael claims to have lost 6 pounds during the 10 shows that Leslie had in plan. Right after the song 藍色憂郁 was H2o. In Leslie's last show of 1985, Leslie thought of Michael Lai as another version of Eric Tsang (曾志偉) because of his weight.
In 1986, Michael Lai teased Leslie, by calling him a big gorilla(大猩猩). However Leslie came back and called him Garfield(加菲貓), because he thought of him of being clumsy and fat, but when it comes to work he is serious (In 1989, Leslie mentions that Michael yelled at him like a dog). Michael Lai thought it was clever to call Leslie a big gorilla because when Leslie started out in 1977, he had long hair, and had worn a scarf on his debut in his career, in which he sung American Pie, Michael Lai thought his outfit was ridiculous, however Leslie thought that type of clothing he had worn would attract a lot of attention.
Quick Fact:
*1985 concert ran for 10 nights
*Last show was scripted for home-viewing
*First show had a poor rating, audience were not satisfied, instruments were off beat when Leslie was singing. Before the second show, the concert was rehearsed again until it met Leslie's satisfaction, in which it remained throughout the other 8 shows including the second night.
*少女心事, 我願意, 不羈的風 had won award during this time, and was sung in live concert. Leslie also claimed his prize live in concert.
*Leslie's show number 8, Leslie's sister brought him bird's nest soup 燕窩湯 (Leslie favorite soup, because it kept his skin very clean[One of Leslie's secrets.... Shh....])
*Leslie had sung Kenneth Choi's 蔡楓華 - 愛不是遊戲 Love is not a game. However Ken was angered, Later in Leslie's 8th show, he would sing this song, but before he did, Ken walked on to the stage and formally apologized about his actions towards him him, also Ken brought him flowers on that night. Leslie was happy that he apologized to him, and insists that Ken and him would sing this song Love is not a game (愛不是遊戲) together, in which they did.
*Anita Mui 梅艷芳 debut in Leslie concerts, also had several duets with him.
*Danny Chan 陳百強 also came to Leslie concert, but only showed up in couple of shows, both had a duet with Danny's song 喝彩 (Encore). Leslie's last show, 喝彩 was the last song to be sung, this featured both Danny and Leslie, Show 1 to show 9, Monica was the last song to be sung.
*Monica and 不羈的風 were sung several times in Leslie's concert, they were often included in Medley, these two songs were sung as an encore, but in home-viewing they were taken out.
*Leslie had used Monica and 不羈的風 during his handshake with the audience, but it came to be that it was dangerous for Leslie, because many female fans as well as male fans had pulled Leslie in, causing him to run away because he didn't want to feel attacked but he soon later went back to continue the hand shake. Thus being Leslie had several handshakes with the audience in different times, one being right after American Pie, and one in the middle of the show (Leslie refused to introduce the band so he can use that time to handshake people), and again the medley Monica and 不羈的風 was later used to hand shake in his encore, then only the song Monica was used to handshake people and this was the last song before Leslie finishes his concert.
*American Pie by Don Mclean was sung in Leslie's 85 concert right before his hit song "Monica"
*During Leslie's duet with Michael Lai, Leslie's last show Michael Lai's microphone had died (This can be seen in this video)
*Paper airplanes were thrown at Leslie, thus being his nickname was 飛機榮.
*Leslie's first song to be sung at the concert was 為你鍾情(Next song was followed by the song 第一次), only part of it was sung, and this very same song was used in Leslie's farewell concert 告別演唱會.
*Prior to the 10 night-long concert, Leslie prepared himself by swimming at least 38 laps.
*Leslie made a promise with his fans, saying he would see them again in the near future, because he didn't want to leave early (1985). This was shown again in 1986.

I have lots of news article and magazines of Leslie I can share a lot more but TH-cam limits my text which stops me from typing out too much, But I can make a video all about Leslie. Most of the facts above should be 99.9% if not 100% accurate. I also did research on those facts to confirm its actually true, which means I had to use more than one source.

@creamyiceful You're welcome! I can make videos dedicated for Leslie and maybe add the information on to there or make fan videos and I can possibly do that as well. I'm from HK but I moved to Canada when I was little but I'm planning to move back later... But even then my parents listened to Leslie so I was able to have some magazines at that time and I kept it. Most of the magazines I purchase online but they're extremely rare, via ebay.. It's pretty difficult to hold something 20 + years ago
