A good tip for the 3-Pack Forge: Hasbro did actually have a mold for the gun he's holding on the Uncanny X-Men 275 cover, why they didn't use it, I don't know. It comes with the Juggernaut wave Cable.

Those #275 X-Men head sculpts are probably the best I've ever seen on most members of the team, especially the Banshee, Gambit, Psylocke 3 pack. Those look incredible. Finally Gambit doesn't look like his head sock is hiding a cranial deformity.
I totally agree on Rogue. Marc Silvestri was the artist on The Uncanny X-Men when Rogue wore this outfit. We should have gotten a Silvestri stylized head sculpt.
I'm kind of sad Hasbro hasn't implemented a standard ball size for their heads to go on across figure lines...or even in this case, within the same line.

Heck of a round-up! Dang, I am not a big Gambit guy, either, but that deadsculpt and paintjob are absolutely fantastic.
I put the neutral Banshee head on Morph's body for the "war room casual" look.
Can't stop thinking about "Ro-nan" the Accuser hahahaha Robo we love you man. And this is why we keep coming back! Loved this playday and yes that Gambit head.... ohhh a second buy of that pack might be okay after all haha.
What i like about banshee is that he also fits into generation x with that costume. Which hopefully legends does more of
I really liked the dynamic of Banshee and Emma training the kids. Poor Jubilee got booted off the X-men and demoted to the minors while Kitty got to stay instead of joining the new mutants.
Hasbro did give us a Nighthawk a few years back, so I'd be happy with a Power Princess and Whizzer to finish off MY Squadron Supreme
The role of Rogue will now be played by Tina Fey. Maybe that's why I want it.
These have the best head sculpts for the jim lee era X Men… I really hope we get new releases of the normal outfits with the new faces, and NO cel shading!

The Banshee looks absolutely amazing. I don't care much for this uniform though, hope they release him in the green and yellow suit, also really wanted that new Gambit head to put in my Caliban wave Gambit
Watch them put the green Banshee in a pack with Siren giving her the screaming head she should have come with the first time. The sideburned head looks like it belongs on a Hellfire body.
I did the same with Yondu's fingers. Easy upgrade that shouldn't have needed to be done with as many archers that Hasbro has made.

I didn't have a Captain America figure yet so this Ultimate Cap was a huge relief because I didn't want to pay the super inflated price that 20 and 80th Caps go for. And I love that it's an all new Pinless sculpt for Cap. I'm not going to necessarily use his as "Ultimate Cap" but just as a nice modern day Captain America costume for my slowly growing Avengers shelf

It is so weird for me being someone who's always been picky with Marvel Legends, since I have still yet to buy a single new release from this year. Partly due to the price hikes, partly due to space limitations, but in general there simply hasn't been a whole lot that is up my alley of interest.
Last year was an onslaught of releases for me, way more than prior years from all the Spider-Man stuff, to Daredevil, along with other classic heroes and villains and retro/anniversary releases, by the end so many were dropping around Christmas that the first few months of this year felt like recovery.
Since then I think it's simply that a lot of the releases haven't interested me personally. I'm very picky when it comes to Avengers, I'm happy with the X-Men I've got, comic Guardians/cosmic stuff I skip, and the bigger deluxe releases are mostly characters that I'm not attached to enough to spend the extra money on. Plus I like to be one and done with characters, once I've got the version I like I skip the rest.
Really that upcoming exclusive comic Ant-Man is my only must, Hawkeye would be too but the skycycle and finding space for it is holding me back for now. All of that combined with things like Black Series, the new Indiana Jones line and the other companies I collect figures from, Marvel Legends haven't been as high a priority. Also there are times when their plain base-body with painted on costume details and the occasional mismatched plastic colours/sheens does bother me, even more so when those other figures I collect have much more intricate and detailed sculpts.
I am the same I love a good storm figure but my favorite is venomized storm funko I think I might make a figure one of these days 🤘🏽🤙🏽
You know what we haven't gotten yet? A Japanese Psylocke head. If you have a lead on a third-party Psylocke head, please let me know.
And that Fanplastic Forge head is sooooo sweet. I got one and now I'm hoping Casting Cave offers them again to get a second. The sculpt is great, but the skin tone really puts it over the top.

This channel is just fantastic. I don’t want any of these figures. I’m an MCU figure guy and yes I know that is a very unpopular position. But I will watch anything you put out Robo. Just puts me in a good mood. It reminds that the hobby is simply meant to be fun.
Nothing wrong with being an MCU collector, in fact I have deluxe Groot in the can for next week and will probably be picking up the rest of the Guardians after seeing the movie. But yeah, fun is the name of the game. Otherwise I'd be doing something else.

Would have been cool if they each came with a jacket... that's stylized to their own personal wardrobe. Maybe we will get a accessory pack... that has some cool jackets... brown...like cyclops has... or maybe or whatever fits the X-men outfits in that period in time.

Not eagre to get a 3-pack, but I want that Forge. Just because I don't have Forge and kinda see that as his regular costume anyway. I like the paint apps on that Psylocke but the facial features just look... off to me. Like they're trying to bridge the gap between Betsy's face and Kwannon's face and came out with Kwetsy Bradon. Hair is at least a lot better for action poses.
If Hasbro did these kind of packs instead of orphan figure packs (random characters out together) they could release a Classic Xmen set (Cyclops, Phoenix, Storm, Nightcrawler, Thunderbird, Banshee, Wolverine & Sunfire) and people would still buy them for the updated pinless bodies and photoreal headscuplts
They should make an “Avengers vs X-Men” toy series!

I doubt there will ever be an official release of "Savage Land" Rogue from the cover of XM 275. 15 - 20 years too late for that release in this current social political climate. Man...I sure do miss that Hasbro fit thicc female buck from back in the day. Moonstone and Satanna(Thunderbolts box set) , Capt. Marvel, Gamora, Spider-Woman, Scarlet Witch and others had nice a hourglass aesthetic. These days the female body proportion's are generally 30 mins(top half) to 1 hour(bottom half) and I have just realized i am overthinking this "issue". Bless Loosecollector lol

30:34 I think it’s just easier for the factory to hold it when they are assembling the figure. Like it’d be difficult for the machinery (if they use machines to assemble the toys and not people who assemble them) to sew the material into the panels when it’s too small to hold.
Really like the training suit X men and Hyperion,like cap,yondu , rogue and Dr spectrum too but not as much,no duffers though ? Damn forgot to say I love Ronan too,lol
With the Squadron, we have the Nighthawk and Speed Demon is part of the team he was Whizzer and changed later own but he has been with the team in the speed demon gear so we technically have 4 members of the Squad

Just saying, a lighter blue dry brush on Cap really makes the scales pop, also the torso is easy pop and mod for more range

Robo, the best moment of this wonderful episode was the 3-second glimpse of Rogue "flying" in your display! Why?!? Because in the lower left of the shot you have Kitty Pryde phasing through the wall!!! Is that one of your customs?!? I need me a phasing Kitty!!

Although I have the outback rogue the hair and no heels bugs me quite a bit but the face sculpt is beautiful. And I like the x-men 3 packs but unlike everyone else I don't really like the psylocke face sculpt as I don't think is Asian enough also psylocke didn't get a psychic katana until later in the comics when revanche(kwannon) died of the legacy virus I also might Nick an old boot strap of one of the old blue and gold figures and add it to forge because I'm pretty sure he had one just over the knee on his robotic leg. Also annoying they couldn't give the girls boot cuff swivel like the guys. And yes all I find myself doing currently is moaning about marvel legends but it's literally because I love the characters so much

Uhhhh I'd be cautious on buying a second 3 pack of Psylocke included set... I suspect like many that a new Psylocke may be on that new Black Widow body. But at the end of the day must as you must.

The Doctor Spectrum is disappointing, we have the Vulcan body now and yet they decided to go with this old out of date Bucky Cap body. Love the Hyperion figure can’t wait to see it’s mold used for other paragon characters like a updated Gladiator and Sentry or for a Ionic Wonderman. Try using the Hyperion hands with the 80th Thor, hold Mjolnir much better so makes displaying and posing more fun.
I would think that metal leg is a older mold 21:47 when it’s got a visible peg but it’s sculpted to size well the other leg. I’m curious about that

Welp this video made me wanna buy those xmen 3 packs, but they're so pricey, time to save up.
I hope you see this, just sharing my pov, i think Gambit's throwing card effect is showing a forward moving throw that begins from the back. Imagine his hand moving from a 8 O'clock position swinging towards 12 O'clock position. A clockwise motion instead of the anti clockwise movement you seem to have interpreted in the video.
Then that puts the trail at the bottom closest to the fingers backwards.

My interpretation is that the swing effect, is like a comet where the head is bigger and the tail is trailing. The tail just indicates the path of the motion of the swing and the cards are released midway while the hand carried through with the motion of the swing.
@@TheFwoosh but i do admit if based on my interpretation, the sequence of the card flight distance may be wrongly presented unless it is trying to interpret that the cards are only being throw at the point where the index finger is and the firing off sequence is flicking his fingers only at that moment with the finger sequence being index, mid then ring finger.

I think those are new Boots on Yondu, the only other Pirate boots I can think of are the Captain America ones that have been used for a LOT of figures but they don't look alike at all
Actually, I think the boots on Yondu are possibly reuse from the AOA Morph
Green/Hobgoblin had unique boots, but otherwise I think there’s only those three
All those times the same parts are used... those parts are called, "assets" because they don't have to shape or sculp another body... which saves money.

I have the same 20th anniversary cap. I too find the holes annoying. However, I filled them with putty and painted over them. It looks a lot better. As for the modern cap, you might try painting on the wings or attaching custom wings, if you’re artistic.

I truly wonder about Hasbro's thinking... is the raised prices compensating for people not buying whole waves. Most people are going the same route as Mr. Robo and buying selectively so this has to be hurting them in the long run and it's also making me people realize they can go without. Them taking out the window took the fun out of catching something in store or getting it in hand cause I felt like I was paying ransom for a box. This is the dumbest strategy ever
