Her mother would not let Brooke come over to my friends uncle's house one afternoon when we were all out playing volleyball..I can remember Brooke standing on the bottom rung of the fence watching us..Finally we asked if she would like to join us and she climbed over and started to play with us like any other 13 yr old would..However,her mom came out and told Brooke to come back because she had things to do..I got the feeling that her mom just didn't want Brooke hanging around us non child stars..I can still see Brooke sitting by herself on the patio swing watching us play volleyball and to this day it still makes me feel sad whenever I think about that late fall afternoon in Connecticut..

At the same time, I was bullied for the way I looked by my family who consistently accused me of being slutty, a gypsy, and vain. Unfortunately, I guess because of my overwhelming shyness/embarrassment, I’ve never made it in life. Not a single marriage proposal, no children of my own. A looser.
