Rochelle I'm sort of just like you, I like to be up in the front like top 4 spots in club / group ride..but also at the back just to make sure everyone is in toe as they say...I use to be Head Road Captain & loved it... It was a licence to be a Hoon I thought, racing from back to the front of the pack on organised runs... Plus, I ride alone alot,( because there's no one to ride with up here) But, with Great Company it makes the Journey So so much Better ✌🏻🍻🤙🏻🤗 Great job

Almost 600 subs! Let's go‼️ I'm a tail gunner, as I like to keep an eye on the pack. I don't like leading as I'm a bit of a swift rider and tend to run at higher speeds than most. Some really nice drone footage Roger! I have to say Rochelle, for some reason I'm drawn to your gauge cluster. It must be the CVO upgrade, but it's quite handsome. Hey Eric, totally get what you are saying sometimes it’s touch and go at the front - are you riding too fast or too slow? I’m always checking in with my pack when leading and you’re right you have to monitor the flow… The back however is where it’s all at cause you can play chase etc. Your arm band has been on lemmy since it arrived! Uncle Kracken joins us on every ride!

I like to ride with a good group of riders I know or whose attitude I like. In which case I'm happy in any position. If I'm in a group of riders I don't know, I'd rather keep them in front of me where I can see them easily. Lovely road and route 👍

Hey! Bathurst is a very iconic place, especially if you’re a motor racing fan! I attended the Bathurst 1000 several times in my youth, an electric atmosphere at that famous track. Use to lead all the shop rides here in Perth.. will never ride in the middle of big groups to many close calls.. if i ever do go again in big groups it will at the rear.. but more of a solo rider these days unless with a small close group.. ps great video hope we can catch up in October when we head east again. I have seen some scary situations with the middle of big groups myself, probably why I’m hesitant being a sitting duck…. Definitely let us know when you are over this way, would love to ride with you guys x

Haha, yeah, to be fair our group rides are never more than say six bikes, and all a very similar riding level. That bit of bumpy road was the only real bad bit to be honest, most of that route is very good. ✌️
Fair call group rides aren’t always for everyone… in saying that I’m not a big fan of riding with people that are lunatics in large groups, we try and keep our with like minded souls so there is a mutual respect already before we even ride. Sometimes it’s nice to ride on your own too x

Roch, If it’s a big pack I like to be near the front but typically like to either lead or be in the back in the small groups. My lucky day as I got to see videos from my favorite Ozzy’s: hachewie and HTJ!
Ah RJ, your content is not dribble my friend… it’s tough putting content out when you have winter conditions such as yours. We had similar feelings when we had our very long COVID lockdown, no riding outside of a 5km radius, made it quite difficult to come up with ideas. We very much appreciate your support, and we love that you dig Chewie’s stuff too, he’s a fine human! ✌️
Rochelle is a natural leader on rides, which suits me just fine. I’m happy to lead if I know where we’re going, however if I’m filming I prefer to be at the rear to capture bikes in the footage. ✌️

When I group ride, if I am not leading, I still like to be up front, either one or two behind lead, I have never been a fan of the sweep position or the middle. The scenery on this ride was awesome! Love the drone footage! I want a drone now! That one bumpy road, I can relate to, as in spring when we begin our riding season the damage done by our winters makes for some spine adjustments as we ride! LOL

Hey Doyle, thanks so much for watching. I prefer the back if I’m unfamiliar with the route, although I enjoy leading if I know where I’m going. Having said that, I tend not to lead if I’m filming a group, because I like to have other bikes in the footage. Appreciate your input. ✌️
Such a cool intro, got me excited and inspired, great stuff! I like leading and tailing as well, more tailing if I'm filming. Not a fan of in the middle unless I know the riders well and we stagger the layout. Interesting reading other people's preferences. Awesome video throughout, terrific drone footage and looks like you guys had a lot of fun!
I don't often ride with a group bigger than 2-3. But when I do, front or back. I like to control my pace. I also ride pretty fast through corners, so I don't like having someone holding me up. If I'm at the back, I can go slow on the straights and fast through the corners and not bother anyone.
Amazing drone stots mate. I started to realised this wasn't the same ride I joined you all on last time after it sunk in that Rochelle's hair was different and those drone shots.
I prefer out in front, especially on winding roads.... When in the back on those kinda of roads a person has to be careful not to tunnel vision on the bike in front of you.. Great combination of ride and drone footage... Well done!

Tail gunner for me, I'm a sheepdog and like to keep an eye on my sheep 💯 Better video, getting the crew and can lay back and the the scenery, too and if there is something along the road to see, those in front will bring it to your attention, so that you can record it.

I never have to pick where I am in group rides...because I won't do them. hahahaha !! That road looks like ours right now...scraped up and full of potholes. Sure is gorgeous scenery in your rides. :)
Haha, yeah, to be fair our group rides are never more than say six bikes, and all a very similar riding level.
That bit of bumpy road was the only real bad bit to be honest, most of that route is very good. ✌️
Fair call group rides aren’t always for everyone… in saying that I’m not a big fan of riding with people that are lunatics in large groups, we try and keep our with like minded souls so there is a mutual respect already before we even ride.
Sometimes it’s nice to ride on your own too x

Amazingly good as always. I’m learning a lot watching your videos instead of the dribble I’ve been putting out. Roch, If it’s a big pack I like to be near the front but typically like to either lead or be in the back in the small groups. My lucky day as I got to see videos from my favorite Ozzy’s: hachewie and HTJ!
Ah RJ, your content is not dribble my friend… it’s tough putting content out when you have winter conditions such as yours.
We had similar feelings when we had our very long COVID lockdown, no riding outside of a 5km radius, made it quite difficult to come up with ideas.

Rochelle is a natural leader on rides, which suits me just fine.
I’m happy to lead if I know where we’re going, however if I’m filming I prefer to be at the rear to capture bikes in the footage. ✌️

When I group ride, if I am not leading, I still like to be up front, either one or two behind lead, I have never been a fan of the sweep position or the middle.
The scenery on this ride was awesome! Love the drone footage!

That one bumpy road, I can relate to, as in spring when we begin our riding season the damage done by our winters makes for some spine adjustments as we ride! LOL

Such a cool intro, got me excited and inspired, great stuff! I like leading and tailing as well, more tailing if I'm filming. Not a fan of in the middle unless I know the riders well and we stagger the layout. Interesting reading other people's preferences. Awesome video throughout, terrific drone footage and looks like you guys had a lot of fun!

I don't often ride with a group bigger than 2-3. But when I do, front or back. I like to control my pace. I also ride pretty fast through corners, so I don't like having someone holding me up. If I'm at the back, I can go slow on the straights and fast through the corners and not bother anyone.

I prefer out in front, especially on winding roads.... When in the back on those kinda of roads a person has to be careful not to tunnel vision on the bike in front of you..

Good points re: the group riding positions! I prefer the back, however that’s mainly because I’m usually filming and like to get all the bikes in the shot!
