I’m hopeful this time around, because these engine sounds are many times better than before. And that time 2 (I think) updates ago, they changed the machine gun sounds to sound good, everyone liked them, and they haven’t changed them since. So I think they at least finally have an idea of what sounds are good and should be kept.

I think different aircraft have different sounds, for example the F-86F, F9F, F3H and F-8E have slightly different engine sounds now. Also, take a look at this video. th-cam.com/video/ZDXf2KmYVl4/w-d-xo.html It seems that a good amount of aircraft now have different engine sounds, since I only have jets for the US I can’t say for sure but that video makes that point.
It’s heat haze. It’s not a new thing, it’s been here for a while now. It usually works fine but was acting weird in this dev server, it wasn’t lining up with the actual engine but would tend to be to the side.

Are those "blurry" effect due to jet engine heat a new thing in this update?
