I love that this home has 3.5 bathrooms and bedrooms of a great size. I don’t mind the split levels, in fact I like them. As the kitchen, dining, and living room are the heart of the home, I don’t see enough of that general space allocated for family. The kitchen is miserable and isolated from guests and family. The laundry room needs to be behind the half bath and dryer vented exteriorly and finally, I want a 2 large vehicle garage. Nice home but not my home.
There are four bedrooms, not 3. There's a good entry, but I'd prefer to have the ground floor all on one level. The placement of the TV in the living room is unwatchable. I'd eliminate the fireplace, but planners on the internet are enamored of them. The kitchen is small, with inadequate counter and cabinet space, though there is a pantry closet, and a smaller breakfast table would allow more counter and cabinets next to it. With a few adjustments, the plan could work.
@@thims1961 Perhaps in your area, but less common in warm climates. Also more likely in high-end homes. In my neighborhood, most of the new builds do not have fireplaces, and older homes that have them rarely if ever use them.

I think split entry is wasted space. There are some nice areas on this home though.
