Side note if something like this happens to anyone else. If you take the spark plugs out and take a spare pull cord rope and just start winding it down into the cylinder, you can lock the crank to tighten/loosen a stuck bolt.

Well that was supposed to be a great overnight and early morning ride on the mountain. Riding is never the same when it’s a parts mission. Well you got some riding in and still awesome. Keep it up Matt.
Sticking to Skidoo for now. I assume there musta been some self wrenching clutch work on that sled. That "my sled is broke" attitude was priceless. 😂We've all been there!

Landon seems like a stand up guy, the way he offered to get you a video was solid.
His recent CA videos came into my feed, probably because my location. There was great snow where he was there.
I'm a bit more remote in Nor Cal and we are off the map here, but it's a quiet gem up here just below Oregon.
Landon is a great guy! Met him in 2018 and he helped me learn some jumping. He’s always the first one to go back and help people and teach them as well

I'm a Poo guy and it seems like a lot of the Poo's are having more issues then normal this year..... too bad and I feel for those guys on the mtn having issues.... never fun. Great Vid Matt and love these adventures you all take.

Seems to be mostly just clutch issues this year that have left sleds broke down but it’s too bad really. Would’ve been great for Polaris to have reliable sleds after sorting all the recalls out

Clutching flying apart and they are still eating plugs like a 70s sled, all that after multiple recalls. I guess it'll stop all the poo guys from chirping who thought doo was horrible for belts a few years ago

This clutch thing is pissing me off and I don't even have one. Polaris needs to address that ASAP as well as BRP with the chain cases. Hopefully tonight they'll release the belt drive?? But there's probably gonna be gremlins with that if they do...at least for the first year or two.
What an adventure. Staying up there would be an absolute DREAM of mine. The campfire smoke, in a cabin with no electricity or anything. Pure heaven. And that morning carve with the sunrise over the mountain was just incredible. WOW what a trip!!

We towed one out of there a couple years ago. Found a really long rope worked best. I had 100’ or rope and cable so I was already going down when the other sled was coming up. It took a lot of work but we did it. There was several techniques used that day. I also feel that place is cursed

tip: a kids crazy carpet under the dead sled track helps immensely with towing
I had a po po clutch do the exact same thing! But right in the parking lot end of day. But half of clutch still on shaft, pain to cut off

Boy Polaris sure is knocking it out of the park this year aren’t they! Delayed deliveries because of recalls. Boosts fouling plugs and blowing clutches apart. 9Rs breaking cranks and blowing clutches apart...and that’s just for starters. Well done Polaris! And yes, I own both of those models as well as the Doos for R&D purposes, so I’m not just a hater.

Hi man, have you looked at skidoos line up for 2024, the freeride had a little different color. And The freeride have turbo now in 146
I wasn’t sure about that mint color at first but it quickly grew on me.

My drive clutch came off my 9R too! Just a couple days ago, thank god I heard it coming loose and made it back to my truck. I'm wondering if there will be a recall? Mine put up 700 miles before failing.

@@dgreenbluet That's bizarre then cuz the only clutches I've seen explode - which are the two on here - have been the 9's. I don't think I've seen a boost grenade their clutch.
