      @@jayr6961 who told you those lies? The difference between German and American rottweilers is that one is born in Germany, and the other born in America.. Rottweilers all come from the same lines of dogs which are all german.. Look at any rottweilers pedigree papers and you will see the word "Von" which means "From" in german.. You will see that word on any rottweilers papers.
      Only notable difference is, in Germany it is illegal to dock tails, that is an American trend. So all rottweilers born in Germany will have tails!!!

    • @TheBurrito171
      @TheBurrito171 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      in very short words : the difference is that american have no requirements for work. They dont have to demonstrate their capability at all in guarding and protection sport, so there is no functional aspect. Its all to do with looks, and over generations, the AKC has favored a more leggy and less mastiff-like rottweiler for show gait. Whereas, if you can guess by now, german rottweiler breeding requirement place technical emphasis on functional ability in protection sport, conformation counts too, but its all for practical purpose.
      Typically, the german are considered superior. But the really terrible one, is the serbian rottweiler. Looks like an alien, built for looks.

    You have some very correct and beautiful dogs. My husband, who has since passed away, and I also bred the Rottweiler breed. We imported from Hembackbrook, Schwaggerwappen and a couple other recognized ADRK kennels in Germany for our foundation stock. When he passed away, I sold our remaining juveniles back to Germany, to the original kennels that their lines led to. I kept the adults that were retired, which was 1 male and 2 females. I lost the last one 5 yrs ago. Seeing your dogs, reminded me of ours. They all had great hips and elbows, and were tested at aged 2 with x-rays, in all the puppies we had, we never had one with hip dysplasia. We reduced some of the feathering, through very selective breeding. We mostly did Search and Rescue and Cadaver dogs, however we did sell a few to some small town southern sheriffs that loved our dogs. They lived with the police officer and family in the house. Just wanted to say that your dogs look amazing. Thank you for making this 5 min video of your Rottweilers.

    • @docbainl9504
      @docbainl9504 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@rogeesatburn2046 generally speaking no because genetics plays a huge part in a competent protection dog. However that being said on the rare occasion if the dog shows intense drive and heart and is built correctly from a young age and has decent foundation it *could* be done. But generally speaking show dogs aren't working dogs and working dogs aren't show dogs but more often you'll find working dogs more apt to be shown then a show dog apt to work.

      @DOC BAINL man I’m wondering how Oscar hot Luca. I want a rotweiller that looks like that. Doesn’t need to eat as much as a 105 pound one. And is fast lean and mean. Also. I am thinking about being a paid intern for protection workers. Or just a shadow. How can I start looking into that? I’m only 23 rn. And I want to be extra prepared going into ownership and purchase of the ideal dog 10 years from now. It’ll be the first dog I have purchased not adopted. And I want the situation very particular.

    Rotties come from the alps in southern Germany 🇩🇪 an area called Rottweill. It is an area where Italy 🇮🇹 Germany 🇩🇪 Switzerland 🇨🇭 Austria 🇦🇹 France 🇫🇷 and formerly even Hungary 🇭🇺 meet. For this reason the Rottweiler is one of the most rustic and old breeds (therefore an exceptional and unique character is built straight into their ancient DNA ).
    They are descended from the original old world mastiff, so technically related to the Cane Corso/ Neopolitan & Even Tibetan/Mongolian Mastiff as well. Very early on these were also dogs of war.
    In the alps these dogs finally found their niche where they really developed and refined as the basis for modern society flourished through farming techniques. They were used by butchers mostly to work and they worked very hard. The dogs would be required to do any number of tasks such as pull carts to market through mountainous 🏔 paths , herd, protect and alert livestock from wolves, and to subdue unruly bulls (yes, basically like a pit bull or an English bull terrier) believe me, you don’t want to have to personally fuck with an angry 😤 “toro” 🐂 (bull).
    But the rottie could do it. (Just like the pitbull, boxer, bulldog, bull terrier, etc. I believe they are also therefore descended from the now extinct “bullenbeizer” , German for “bull biter”.
    Perhaps most importantly, the butchers would tie their money 💰 around the rotties neck on their way home 🏡 from market.
    Basically the rottie comes from the same area as the cradle of modern western society, i.e. knights, castles, hierarchies, highly evolved farming techniques, as well as BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, German Engineering, etc... so basically rotties are ancient and this makes them awesome.
    Have you even seen the amount of amazing dogs coming out of Germany 🇩🇪 ?!
    So just don’t let the cat out of the bag so to speak, guys... too much popularity tends to kill breeds.
    Keep it low key guys! And please don’t be a backyard breeder, this noble breed should be reserved for the exclusive and never ever end up in a pound. If you haven’t been deep into dogs since 20 plus years the likelihood of the dogs you breed or their offspring ending up in a pound just went up one thousand percent. Most real pros know this. Dog breeding is a passion and it’s not something to make money 💰 with. You are lucky if you cover your costs and you shouldn’t even have to try.
    (You can board, groom, and train dogs and cats for extra cash if that’s what you wanna do.)
    Let’s all unite to stop mans best friend going to the dog pound (doggie prison for essentially innocent dogs 🐕). It’s not right. Stop it. And if you do sell, make a contract saying your customer cannot legally breed. Also never just put one on a chain to guard, they need to be part of their family. They become very close to their people. Have you ever seen a rottie at a dog park? All the dogs are playing together and the rottie is playing with his family.... (also that deep bark... everyone knows there’s a beast around just by that ground shaking sound.) I remember, my Baby, his name was Zeus, and if you came over you have to go through him first and he would make sure everything was okay with us before letting you in. He would literally greet you by “talking” with you. 😢 damn we love our dogs don’t we?! And Seriously Gents 😒 (and Ladies of course ) no backyard breeding. No more dogs in pounds. Not a single one.

    4 days ago I just got a 3 mos. old rottweiler puppy and he is such a loving and trainable pup. In just one night he already know his name and when I tell him “hey sit down“he will follow but with a reward of course and spin too💓 i dont get why people says rottweilers are scary and aggressive lol not all it depends on how you treat and raise them. I always hug my pup and he will kiss me back. You must train them and keep them socialized with other dogs, cats and more and more people so it’ll make em less aggressive when they become older. My pup is very gentle and calm he doesn’t bite and everytime when he get pissed or annoyed by something he’ll just act like a lost pup with his cute cryin effect 😂 ( just wanna share my experience so far and im looking forward for more and blessed years of our friendship☺️)

    Very interesting video. I just love rottweilers My first rottie did bite work here in France, as did the others. He bit on the leg, right down at the ankle. Gorgeous Rottweilers! Have had a rottie in the house since the early 80's and I am not sure I could ever live without one. My current girl is the love of my life. The only downside to these dogs is their life span, however my previous one lived till she was 14 so we got really lucky with her! If I'm ever in the market for another one I would love to check out your kennel, I'm about 4 hours away.

    I love how they all had their tails. I personally don't see many Rottweilers with tails where i am.
    I absolutely love the breed both German and American. I have been around two litters along with knowing and being very close to the parents. 1st litter was around 8 or 9 pups and the 2nd litter was around 15 or 16 pups. I helped birth the second litter since mom was having difficulty and was too far along to take back to the vet. Mom was a pure German Rottweiler with her tail and dad was a pure American Rottweiler born without a tail.
    The first of the second litter sadly has issues with temperament problems and he as of now is still intact along with his dad also still intact. I dont agree with having two fully developed male intact Rottweilers being together as much as they do. But they are not mine.

    As a breeder you should know those crabs should be kept in a warm room, in a tank with 1 centimeter coconut substrate . letting them wonder around your yard isn't wise. Fiddler crabs also shouldn't wonder in gravel, because they have trouble navigating that harsh terrain.

    Awesome profile Zeke! This is quality an American Bully kennel should have a as a standard. It seems like this guy adopted and afforded the lifestyle to provide for his kennel/dogs, and not the other way around. People aren't focused on putting in the work for a quality kennel. I think @mrbullyaffiliated is a great example of what I have seen aside from Suarez and few others.

    El rottweiler era conocido como «perro de carnicero de Rottweil», en alemán: rottweiler Metzgerhund. Es una raza canina de tipo molosoide originaria de Alemania. Si bien todavía se utilizan en el pastoreo tradicional, también se suelen usar como: perro de búsqueda y rescate, perro guía, perro guardián, o perro policía entre otras funciones.

    They are the same. All originated from Germany, but descended from ancient drover dogs. Some are naturally larger, smaller, leggier, more stout, serious or playful, having more or less bone, head size, etc. Check out one of the best selling breed books ever in publication, the highly regarded “The Complete Rottweiler” written by the now deceased, Muriel Freeman. This should be your go to resource for all things Rottweiler. She was the first non-German and first woman, to judge the Rottweiler Bundesieger in Germany in the 80’s. This position is considered the pinnacle of Rottweiler knowledge and expertise; she was called to do it again. Great read..she truly conveyed all that is important to know and all that is exceptional about this breed😊

      They actually Go back Further than that The romans are the recorded as the ones who popularized the bred they migrated from. Its Bloodline originates from the Tibetan Mastic. Please stop. Saying the created the Rottweiler The name came from where it was left behind not where it started.

    I know this video is old but aren't rottweilers the best!?
    Im on my third rottweiler and am biased against other breeds now. And after my third one i can absolutely tell you they are far from a "dangerous breed". The way the rottweiler in his lap is being is exactly the spirit of the rottweiler breed.
    Love the rottweiler! 😀👍🏻🐶

    I own a Rott. Have a Rott pup coming in a couple months. Was curious to hear what this breeder had to say about American Rotts vs German. But he never said a damn thing about it.

  • @ramsesneilsoto

    lov that these dogs are not oversized. a lot of American lines are riddled with bad hips, elbows n poor bones in general. European stock is the way to go.

      I agree, but on feelings - actually can you tell an "american" or a "german" they look different or give them a DNA test, a rott is a rott.

    what if I told you the dogs with the supposed hip displacement in cases where both hind legs poke out while sitting increased the dogs jumping ability about double. one of the rottweilers had it but was faster and could jump higher than her brothers and sisters by about double in height and length loved that girl!!
