    Great video Adam, we'll done, so much good information love your stuff mate. . I carry some meat with the fat on as it sinks slower, and on days when the fish are off the bottom it seems to out-perform the non fat kind.

    Sooo jealous of you buddy, on your own on one of the new lakes. Its baggin time 😁😁😁 It would have been good to show how your hair rig your meat.

      Definitely nice to have the chance to go on there, looking forward to matches starting to get back there.
      I should have done a close up of that really but basically I use one of the Korum style hooked baiting need out the meat on it and hook the band to stretch it out and slide the meat onto the band
      When you release the band it expands again and holds the meat
      I’ll try and do a little video when I get chance

      @@AdamRichardsFishing cheers, Yes I am looking forward to the clubmans matches I am not good enough for the opens. I think I know what you mean, does it not blow the cube of meat open when you let the band expand inside the meat

    • @AdamRichardsFishing
      @AdamRichardsFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No I never have any problems, very occasionally a piece breaks but most of the time it’s fine aslong as you use the smallest bands

    • @AdamRichardsFishing
      @AdamRichardsFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can also use a quick stop which works just aswell , the only problem with those is I find they break off in the net sometimes where as the band stays on and doesn’t break

    I'm trying to fish the matches at the oaks on a sundays (Ash, Beech, Sycamore) and my first goal would be to get 3 figures in lbs but as yet that's just not happened 🤔 I've tried meat, pro expanders, both flavoured with F1 krill & squid fishing the inside edge and top kit plus one straight out feeding well soaked micros again flavoured with F1 krill & squid. I've tried maggot but get bitted out. Any advice much appreciated 🙏🙏

    Adam, Got a small club match on Cedar this weekend, not sure what pegs we got yet. Would your meat fishing method work on there? And also if your priming it for 2/3 hours first before going on it,what would you fish for the first part of the match?

    Great upload Ian, had some great days on the meat, but only in warmer weather and shallow. This has been a right eye opener 👍 the pole you use? Is it a prototype looks very straight and responsive. Been a long time since I’ve seen any numbers of shimano poles on the bank 👏👏

    • @AdamRichardsFishing
      @AdamRichardsFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Dave, no not a prototype, I’m still using my old browning spheres at the moment

    Hi Adam, a great video but can I ask if you started hard on the deck or over depth. ? I know you caught shallow late on. Cheers Pete

    • @AdamRichardsFishing
      @AdamRichardsFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Peter.
      Generally I start off at dead depth, if the conditions are bad then I’ll happily but a couple of inches on the bottom though

    Hi Adam how many tins of meat would you expect to get through on a 5 hour match please.
    Thanks keep them coming.

    • @AdamRichardsFishing
      @AdamRichardsFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      At the moment while it’s still cool 2 tins is easily enough. I fished for about 3.5 hours while filming this and used 1 tin

    Brilliant video👍 Did you fish dead depth?

    • @AdamRichardsFishing
      @AdamRichardsFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Geoff
      Yes I generally fish dead depth to start, pluming up to the bottom of the float body.
      If conditions are bad with wind and tow I’m happy to go a little over depth though

    • @AdamRichardsFishing
      @AdamRichardsFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Fred... it was an eye opener how many fish came into the peg even with it being so cold still.
      Regarding coaching it is something I’m actually looking to start doing as a few people have been asking lately

    Love fishing sycamore ash and beech but cant seem to get over 240lb when fishing opens and the winner is getting 400 plus why? I fish top kit next to nets or chase the pacman type fish half way through but it's never enough 🤬

    • @AdamRichardsFishing

      Hi Ben
      I’m going to try and film a live match on there when it warms up a bit and the fishing is really good, hopefully that might help when I get round to doing it!
