    Angus is doing the duck walk. It’s origin goes as far back as T-Bone Walker (1930s) but, Chuck Berry was often given credit as his performances are what made it so popular. Both Angus and Chuck Berry are the most noted for making it famous.

    • @jeff316
      @jeff316 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Angus actually took that walk to a whole other level, to the point where it is synonymous with him now. I've never seen anyone move and play like him, especially when he was younger.

      @@walterlowe7252 check out some of the videos of T-Bone. The guy was awesome and you can see Chuck Berry’s act was pretty much a kicked up version of TBone Walker. He’s very underrated as far as his musicianship, style, and the influence he had on musicians like Chuck Berry, BB King, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. I’m not sure if he’s in the R&R HOF, but he should be.

    No..it is NOT the same guy that sang "Highway To Hell"
    That was Bon Scott who drowned in his own puke after drinking, in 1979 (same year the song and album came out)
    But you might have heard a later Live version with the singer in this video.
    Brian is still the vocalist in AC DC today, more than 30 years after this video came out.
    And sing just as good now in his 70's as when he joined in 1980
    Check out "Realize" from their latest album 🙂

    • @yourmaninlondoncollecting5749
      @yourmaninlondoncollecting5749 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@mengiaboy Yes he stepped down..for a while.
      But fortunately he found a solution
      "Far from being a denier, Johnson embraced his hearing loss and came clear to his bandmates. He also reached out to in-ear technology specialist Stephen Ambrose, the creator of an in-ear monitor called ADEL.
      Johnson supported the hearing aid technology and was quoted by Billboard on his positive review:
      “It works. It just totally works and you can’t argue with that. I was really moved and amazed to be able to hear music again like I haven’t heard for several years now.”
      So he is back with ACDC 😁🤘

    The school boy outfit was a product of Angus and Malcolm’s sister Margaret’s sewing machine in the very early seventies. Margaret told Angus he couldn’t be in a rock band because he looked like a schoolboy. Margaret’s sewing machine didn’t stop there, it named the band as well. There was an AC/DC switch on the back that the boys attributed to power. 5 decades later they are still rocking and dropping new music. Except for Malcom and Bon. God rest their souls.

    • @TARider2
      @TARider2 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      100 percent the sewing machine could run on either ac or dc voltage and since they played so damn hard they figured we use both cause we're hard as fuck. Whats funny is back in 70s acdc to a lot of people meant you were bisexual lol they didn't care they just played badass rock n roll everywhere they went.

    Angus Young is the lead guitarist in the band doing the duck walk. The outfit he is wearing his sister suggested it to him to dress up like a school boy in uniform. Both him and his brother Malcolm Young were the co-founders of ACDC. They came from Australia living in a low income housing. They both came up with lead positioning for the reason I believe are so short lol. Both both have overcome and became one of the best Rock Bands ever. I love Bon Scott but with his passing they couldn't have picked a better replacement than Brian. His first album with them Back In Black hit number 4 in the charts.

    Hate you? Are you kidding? No one knows everything. I've been listening to Rock music almost my entire life and I can only name a few members of a few bands. I'm just not into studying bands. I'm into their music. I see no shame in that. I have a lot more things to do than memorize music trivia. I'm not down playing people who do. We all have our niche in life. But I loved your reaction to this video. Love you and your family and, of course, the Gitanos. Stay safe and be blessed!

    Thunderstruck is one of the most played professional sports game intro anthems of all time. It started getting played in basketball, football, baseball, and more very soon after it was released, right up to today. The NBA franchise just down the road, the Oklahoma City Thunder, when they moved from Seattle in 2008, where they had the nickname SuperSonics, naturally adopted it as their theme played while the players jog onto the court at the game beginning just before tip-off, it creates a very high energy atmosphere to put it lightly.

    Love it when the reactors find something that is usually outside their preferred types of music. Even though I don't like some of the music you review or react to I really love the way you respond when you find something really new and wonderful to listen to for the first time. Such as when you reacted to Jinjer and you went totally ballistic over her singing style. Keep up the good work and look forward to more of your reactions. Such as Pantera 5 Minutes Alone or Domination you'll love the guitar and drum playing by the Abbott Brothers may they R.I.P.

    Dave Evans was the original singer for AC/DC who were heading in the Glam Rock direction, he was replaced by Bon Scott.

    Went to see AC/DC in 1977 in Columbus Ohio. Just say'in...It was awesome! You mentioned new bands that don't jam with instruments anymore. Fairly new family band called Liliac. if you like AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne, Matallica, Black Sabbath. You will really enjoy their original song: Mars, live in Georgia. I think you may really enjoy it as well as your fans, at least one. Have a great day. Thanks for being there.
