Looks like hes done some karate? Amarni has the best K1 style great hands solid kicks and knees but this session only throwing right kick maybe has a slight injury?
@@ROC14088 I think its because the other guy was southpaw so it throws off his usual combos / timing

@@ROC14088 The other guy owned him when they first sparred so now Amari plays it safe for the camera and only throws the rear roundhouse.
Dean improvement is fking noticeable
Dean is a quality fighter mate nothing but improvement

I like Lee Whitfield's style. He's textbook but knows how to put his strikes together. The dude is a wall that can hit back.

Great sparring, good control. I liked how they kept it a constant light/medium spar. Its Hard to not amp it up after a few minutes.
Well said! the heat can soon turn up and sometimes they do but generally its a good mix of different styles all trying to learn and adapt to take on the others strengths. i will be releasing more footage soon

Does Dean Pattinson come from karate background (or some sort of traditional martial arts)? just keep noticing how he likes to stand upright with very minimal upper body movement, his steps are definitely different from conventional muay thai style, looks very fluid with different kicks)
he has had a boxing background as far as i know

You could see he had some shit ready at the start but then stopped doing it pretty quickly for some reason. He was parrying into body shots and then stopped.
@@mikegoodwin5951 yes he did try to catch/parry the first few kicks, albeit not very well. I think that it may be due to Deans background is in TKD (looking at the bladed stance and fancy kicks). Dean doesn’t look like he is experienced in MT checks, traps, sweeps, knees or clinches...
Can you get John haggerty to spar Amari please
