you don't need to connect it to your flight control it can be used stand alone or being connected to 2 channels on your radio for tilt and roll control

hmm hanging camera around the tilt motor? I am not sure what does it mean :( if the camera waves alongthe tilt axis ,you will need to adjust the tilt gain.

Hi, just got my Tarot Gimbal in today, it took a long time I was very happy, Till I put it together and plugged it up to a 450ma battery and it will not work, at all. after all the time getting it in and it does not work.
One thing which I couldn't find anywhere is how to reset the main board after it goes in over current state with green light solid. This blocks current flow to the motors and though gyro works, motors don't work. Any idea how to reset the board in this state?

I don't suggest you add third party lense on gimbal , it may be affect gimbal work . you can change the model W to M on gopro , which will reduce the fish eye effect .

I find that when I push (even gently) on the roll, the software thinks it's out of range and shuts down the motors for safety. Can this feature be disabled because it is getting a bit annoying.
Contnect to software . turn down the roll range angle to 40 degree (don't pass 45 degree ), when you move the roll to 40 , it's will be locked but wouldn't shut down , Becasue the roll max angle is 45 , if you over it , the power will shut off .
I tried to open software to change MODE 1 to MODE 2 but when opening it asks for "appface" so I installed it, then asks for other ".tll" and so on. Can you tell me how you were able to install software to change parameters of gimbal please?
Thank you I downloaded it from Tarot, all in chineese. Version 1 opens but cannot move gimbal even changing parameters in software window but at bottom corner it mentions that it is communicating somehow to gimbal. Still cannot make MODE buttond active.

I have the tarot 2d gimbal set up with tilt control on the 7th channel of my phantom controller. The gimbal works perfectly (looks forward) when the tilt control is NOT plugged in. But when it is, the knob controls properly, but the gimbal does not keep its steady directional compensation. When the heli goes backward, the gimbal will point upward and I will have to reset the tilt. Has anyone run into problems like this? Thanks! -Jamey

You can use 4s but will need a 12v BEC. Gimbal runs on 12v thus a 3s is recommended.

How do you attach tarot to Phantom? It has hooks to go on rail but Phantom does not have rails.

Sir, there is a power supply wire under Phantom .just weld it with the power cable of gimbal , no need any connector .

You can separate supply power or use the same power , if you want to use the same power , make sure the voltage is matched
what is the good voltage ? i have a lipo 3s 30c 5000mah
normally 12 v for gimbal m 6s for main power , you could use a module to reduce voltage .
