Sending you my prayers from Miami-Dade, hopefully it goes away faster. They kept saying the storm would weaken before making landfall! Just like in Andrew in 1992 they kept many people from evacuating because of their forecast. IAN will be upgraded to a Cat 5 in the future.

I had a 3’ snake last week come in my house and slithered right up to me..,my dog, cat and rabbits weren’t scared…it wasn’t raining or flooding but he died that day bc my neighbor killed him. Sorry bud, I didn’t know what side you were on😢

Women in their last month of pregnancy are usually asked to camp out in hospitals too.
My mother in law had a flight out on Tuesday in Fort Myers, the airline cancelled it trapping her there. My sister in law and her family decided to stick it out and it seems like they didn't get flooded, just the power outage affecting them.
They either knew they weren't in the direct path or something. No way did they just have power outage and not get flooded, so they knew they weren't at real risk.
@@trishannbell5508 they're in Fort Myers... My mother in law was at their mercy, otherwise she would have fled. They were in the direct path, but thankfully their area has better drainage and their lake/pond was significantly lower than normal. As of yesterday evening they weren't flooded out, but we'll know more this morning.
As far as what they knew, this is one of the biggest storms in years. A lot of people assumed they'd be fine and now they're swimming. My sister in law and her husband were fighting badly because they realized they should have evacuated. Despite the house being fine their road, and ways in, are gone until it drains.
Thank you! Thank you to all the strong good Men that are 1st responders. Also the same for the Men that will erect and repair the power system. The other Men that will chain saw all fallen tree's...etc. You guys are worth the 6 figure salaries you make. Be care full out there Guy's!

This a horrible thing that has happened,we have to pray for people that needs help , nobody was prepared for this, nobody,they thought they could just ride the storm out but they found out that they can't,I would of probably stayed and protected my place too but it dangerous,so after seeing this ,I wouldn't stay now Matthew 24:7 I was reading of things that has and will continue to happen and in Revelation it talking about more things to come,we have to be prepared for this !
