    I’ve been an LPN god for 2 years already, I’ve worked Homecare, long term care and rehab both were in the same building, my local hospital is hiring LPNs and I’m thinking I’m gonna go for it 😊

    My one year anniversary as a LPN will be November 30th. I have worked in assisted living as the floor nurse and now I’m ADON as the same facility. Also I’m doing prn as a AL/skilled

    IM A MEDICAL ASSITANT AT A METHADONE CLINIC AS WELL, I LOVE IT BUT IM THINKING OF GOING BACK TO SCHOOL TO BECOME A LPN OR RN IM JUST SOO CONFUSED WHICH ONE TO DO.. I NEED ADVISE WHICH ONE IS BETTER??

    • @Brithenurse

      If you have the means I would go to RN school. I say that because you won’t have to stress about making the decision about going back if you’re already an RN, and you already have a pretty good medical background as a MA.

    What nursing school would you recommend, in atlanta .I want to become a lpn but unsure of where to apply

    • @Brithenurse
      @Brithenurse  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Honestly whichever one is closest to you but id recommend a technical college for the price: west ga, ga state college, southern crescent, Gwinnett tech, chattahoochee tech those are the ones i can think of off the top of my head

    How do you like corrections? I’m going into my second semester of nursing school (LPN) and I think I want to become a correctional nurse.

      I’m enjoying it, it’s not stressful and it can be very interesting learning how things go. I had to learn how inmates run game but once you get used to it it’s a very routine job which I like.

    Hi, I been an LPN for 5 years. I have work in detox facilities, jails, methadone clinic. Now I have an offered for a Lpn position at the hospital. The pay is in the low 20. And an offers at a methadone clinic . I'm so scared to work at the hospital. Maybe you can give me some tips.

    • @Brithenurse

    • @Brithenurse
      @Brithenurse  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@kathypierre2933 honestly most hospitals have extensive training and skills check i wouldn’t even worry about the skills part, I would get familiar with the charting system they use because you’re going to spend a lot of time charting, sometimes more than actual patient care. Also during orientation try to independently think while you have a preceptor to lean on that way when you get on the floor by yourself you’ve already been practicing critical thinking skills and it won’t be overwhelming for you. Congrats on your new position!
