Hey guys! My mind was kinda all over the place with this and the FFBE Equip gave me Magic Killers for my Hybrid damage dealers. You need to use physical for hybrids! Thanks!
I had the opposite issue from you. I have Xuan Yu so the magic stages didn't worry me but I didn't really have much for physical. Then as I was going through my units just now I discovered I had pulled a CP Noctis at some point. Really speaks to the problems with 7*s where you can pull a good unit and immediately forget about it cause you either don't have UoCs or just cant justify the expense. Nevertheless...to the Prism Exchange Watson!
Amazing guide Claic, thanks for that. I confess that I'm not playing this game as much as I did before I've started playing Grand Cross but this Dark Visions event is surely the most awesome thing in FFBE for the last six months at least.
This is the best thing that has happened to ffbe in a loooong time! It's been months since i've last played the game more than hour straight. It's great to use characters that has been in the bench for long time. 250k points will have to do for now.
Thankfully, even for the physical enemies, with the exception of Plant Golem, I managed to "brute force" it with either Diabolos Sol and CG Terra, or Diabolos Sol and Operative Zyrus. I really struggled with Plant Golem, because I have no water equipment, and my only source of water imbue is a 6* Lunafreya XD It's nice to see you covering Dark Visions, Claic, and hopefully everyone your side of the pond is well and safe. =)
I wasn’t expecting the whole « gotta equip again ALL your units » thing lol. I don’t do lots of challenge in this game tbh. I have still many special bosses to beat (maybe i should do something about that... I’m way behind on the main story too... I’ll probably be done with season 1 soon... but yeah...). I still did the first fight. Fire elemental party. I won but got a C lol. Guess I need to think more about building better teams.
Logging in and seeing blank parties made me nope out, fully equipping multiple parties is very inconvenient, like 20 minutes for each party. Its irritating that they blank your party for item world every time now, but at least there is save and load. Your video is very helpful but idk if I want to spend half my day on a mobile game because they decided to leave out QOL things they fixed in Japan. If its a reset every time, forget it this whole event.

Hey Claic! I'm definitely frustrated that each team doesn't have their own equipment, and/or you can't save and load teams.. Ughhhh. (I would prefer the former.) I did send them a message, and they said they're on the same page, and are working on it, so we'll see. That's killing a bit of the fun for me. I also find myself a bit frustrated at not being able to get max scores. I haven't moved past the first guy yet.. I can get 10,000 in everything, but can't max the damage. -_- Unfortunately, I wasn't able to pull Mustang, 'cause he would certainly help. I want a finisher that can do crazy OTKO damage, and all I have is Noctis. (He's not bad, but still.) Oooooooh well, I'll get in there more tomorrow! :) Thanks for the video!

Anyone else remember when the community was disappointed with mastermind Xon on his release? I do and I have no regrets pulling for his stmr on Black Friday now, and even less regrets about putting Atk on it (19% Atk and High Tide +)
I knew I'm gonna see Cid on his team hah. Personally I replaced Cid with Kimahri to do dmg on turn 2 instead of 3, and as for chainers that would be CG Rain and Hoyh. With good equipment they still can do a lot of damage. Its nice to see a free unit being actually good.
The one thing I don't understand in dark visions is what splitting parties up by element adds to the event. Just give a blanket 20% damage and remove the dumb busywork as it adds nothing but needless work. Otherwise great!

i went with having to build for 3phys dps, 2 hybrids and 3magics after 3 n half years since global release XD im just able to make 3 now with the great goddess yshtola that just came out we able to farm for every day :D
If ya need a fire magic finisher my Roy is over 3.2k magic with almost 4K self buffed his EXPLOSIONS demolished the enemies weak to fire. My Edward is almost 3k atk unbuffed too sadly not fully atk potted yet.
Yeah I just built whatever the builder put in for me before min maxing and double checking everything! Ill be sure to get higher scores after I get it all set right!
How are people getting 400k points on these? I even see number 1 doing more points than whats allowed? Its sad how people constantly cheat on this game and admins dont do nothing
i've had a rough time with a few of these fights, simply because I just don't have a lot of units for them. Had to do a few continues on the first siren fight and dark odin, dark ramuh though.... i cant do it, he just nukes my party for almost 60k damage every hit in the first turn. I have managed to do better then I ever imaged I would though, Alphonse has gotten me through about 90% of these by tanking so much damage , was sitting at rank 8k today, will probably go down as time pass's since I just can't do Ramuh or the second Siren.
Gotta be honest.. I was super excited for this new mode and gear.. but just seein your squad let alone not knowin how to play it the way you do.. it's been a cpl years but I think this is where I get off.. cuz I just can not match that
Damn, I was hoping to see if you got the 30K perfect score for the damage on the mage fights. It seems that no one at least any of the vids I've seen, have good mages to get the 30k mark. I have a lot of units including the twins and a lot of hybrids but I can't get that score on some fights. Would really like to see someone do it (I know there have been cuz of all the perfect scores on the top rank leader boards.)
Ok, thanks for the guide it's very useful. but on the first fight you haven't used sylvie new enhancement to their full potential. her enhanced CD gives to one unit a 300% ATK/MAG buff and the second CD a 300% DEF/PSY You put those buff on one of your units and let Xon Copy that shit and put it on the entire team with a triple cast Steal buff/ steal imperil/ reflect on the entire team Boom all your team is buff to 300% all stats, and with sylvie triple cast you don't even need kryla because she can be built 100% draw attack/evade/provoc. I have a demo of this on my channel (it's in french tho) for those who want to see it in action.
yeah in this video I FOR SURE dont use Xon to the full potential. I wanted to make it 100% beginner friendly and not get too crazy. Its why I didn't throw in a Noctis or Regina and copy their killers LOL but thanks for the tips!

So FFBEequip works best when your account is binded to a FB account. Mine used to be binded to FB but for some reason I switched to Google and now my units and equipment lists are out of date. I don’t think I can rebind to FB again, so any suggestions?
Keep in mind I'm still new on dark vision, but I still don't know why people bring a tank in this? Maybe for future battles but now seem like not necessary and use a slot for nothing? I just placed evade and enmity equip on kryla. Or is just for chaining? Also cid is not working well for me, I don't know how to use him or how equip him because I never used him before. Atk is also very low (1891), did I placed to many jump boost equip? And last, how you deal with killers... is not that i can equip killers on everyone, I dont have multiple copies. Dom't have MM Xon :x

Nah, this video of me playing the game is fake. But joke aside this game royally fucked me 3 months in a row on gacha pulls and put a bad taste in my mouth. Then 7DS and WOTV came out so I took a break from grinding every event like I had for 3.5 years to try these new games. I grind what I find fun, I don’t give a fuck about what my rank is.

for dark magic, you could have used Levinson with dark weapon, and Malph and chain with AR to get S+ on chain

Lol same I pulled for him when he was released. I liked xon in general so I had to pull for 2 and just happened get 2 more a month later.

From what I understand barriers do not prevent dmg. Even barrier dmg counts against you.

So how do people have 1.4 million + points if the best you can get is 80k x 15 fights? Seems like max would be 1.2M?

So each area unlocks after the day the event starts, then you just gotta beat boss after boss!

From a mechanic perspective, you mean? Nope. Both groups of weapons share different enhancement systems.
Does Xon transfer killers from the ones he has equipped, or just from in battle buffs?
