I think its important to acknowledge that our socialization proccess is based on emotional suppression. We dont just decide to supress emotions to please parents..we are conditioned into supressing them
I can identify with avoidance, state changing and somatising. I had me/cfs for 3 years and somehow managed to recover but I still get ill all the time and struggle to display emotions
Oh wow - I relate to all but blaming others. I'm going to sit for 5 minutes now and try the exercise again. Thank you for sharing, this has helped me to see where my long term fatigue is really coming from.
