- Family-owned Finnish haulers Kuljetus S. Simpanen Oy must transport loads of up to 80 tonnes through thick snow and ice, and over steep, narrow roads. It is a tough assignment and it requires the toughest of trucks - in this case a Volvo Truck FH 16 750 with I-Shift with Crawler Gears. “I have an almost perfect timber truck. If God made a better one, he kept it for himself,” says owner Saku Simpanen.

How cold does it get down to in Finland? Canadian person here from Canada.
Raymond it really switches every year but up north it could get down to -30.. mostly just sits around -20, -25... but the record in finland is -52 year 1999
@@Mysohvaperuna Last winter the coldest was -26 C in my home village. Coldest was in '86 -44C when I was doing my army duty. I was so so cool dude then. :)

Kannattasko ajaa itekki niillä vehkeillä ennenkun määrittelee hyvät autot. On meinaan hyviä ja huonoja puolia kaikissa akselistot yms. ite oon vasta puoli vuotta ajanu trippeliautolla puuta (volvo) ja kokeillut tridem akselistolla ei enää toivottavasti tarvii sillä akselistolla ajaa, vaikka eihän se oo kitaran vika jos sitä ei osaa soittaa. Scaniat taas kuljettajaystävällisiä, mutta toisaalta puuhommissa niitä rasvamontun kuluttajia toisin kun muut. Varmasti päteviä pelejä kapishommiin mutta ei parhaita metsäautoja. Nämäpä siis omia mielipiteitä asioihin. Sisu on hyvä auto koska akselit on suunniteltu timbereissä niin täydellisesti tonne metsänpuoleen ja alusta on todella jämäkkä, sekä voimaahan niihin tuottaa mersun moottorit ;)
