    hi! i saw you used oil based food coloring. you added the coloring into the chocolate just like that with no problems? i marbled before using two different colored candy melts bc i was afraid of adding coloring directly to the chocolate. the cakesicles dried normally and everything?

      Hello we don’t have any issues using oil based candy color we do prefer to color our chocolate but Yes, that method is great as well.

    Hi! What kind of coloring is added for marbling? Have to be oil based?

    • @caketutoring
      @caketutoring  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, the candy color we use is in the description box 💖 it’s chef master candy food color, oil based.

    • @caketutoring
      @caketutoring  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We do recommend oil based. Water based will make the chocolate chunky and dry.

    Why does my stick fall of the cake while dipping in chocolate? 😔

    • @caketutoring
      @caketutoring  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hello! 😊 Do you freeze for 5 minutes prior to dipping? Depending on the climate you are in you can leave in the freezer for 10 minutes, for warmer climate. You can also try adding less icing. Another suggestion adding paramount crystal to your chocolate for a better consistency. I hope this helps!

      Why add less icing ? I figured if I add kore icing it’ll make it stick more

    • @caketutoring
      @caketutoring  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@manarali6093 Adding less icing will make the cake dough firmer. Adding too much will make the cake dough mushy

    Okay how did you get a chocolate so white 😩

    • @Ssss-eh5kt
      @Ssss-eh5kt 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Compound chocolate is really white when melted because it doesn't have cocoa butter or some other stuff. Maybe she's using compound and not real chocolate

      I've heard it doesnt leave a weird taste because it evaporates, you'll only be left with the dust so i guess its okay?

    • @Ssss-eh5kt

    Why lemon extract?

    • @caketutoring
      @caketutoring  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Extracts contain alcohol. Alcohol is quick to evaporate and so quick to dry, which is why lemon extract. You can also use vodka.

    • @irammanahil4177
      @irammanahil4177 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@caketutoring does it have to be lemon? And does it leave a flavour?

    • @caketutoring
      @caketutoring  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Slightly, you can use other extracts but the alcohol content is higher on lemon extract. Low alcohol extracts can leave your luster dust clumpy. You can use vodka for no flavor at all.
