You're such an amazing person. I love your tutorials, you explain everything really well. And when I get a notification I get interested in every single video which you make. Many thanks keep up the wonderful creativity alongside the tutorials. You're amazing!! 😊
Thank you for making painting soo doable....your step by step teaching is really tops...I am an elderly and now I have something to look forward to....keep up the good work. God bless you.
You have a gift for explaining techniques, Emily and it's much appreciated. I will always paint "little moustaches" whenever I do a pumpkin. Love the Autumn spooky time content at this time of year. Thank you! 🎃⭐🎃
I’m so glad to hear it was helpful! Thanks so much for watching and following along. I’m loving being able to paint pumpkins/ autumn season context again too 😄🎨
@@bdozler9 yep! It’s a not so secret of some artists that we use makeup brushes especially for blending purposes. The wet n wild makeup brush is perfect for this!
Thank you for such an amazing painting video! I followed your video, however when it came to pumpkin ribs and shading, the black color started messing my orange color of the pumpkin and started becoming the dominant color. Then I had to redo the orange color of the pumpkin. Do you have any advice on how to shade using black color for beginners?
Hmmm, I don’t have any specific videos on this but it can happen if there is too much of the dark color used. It takes practice! If the black shade is too dark for you try just using dark brown or a darker orange. With acrylic craft paint, if the darker shade begins to overpower the orange, stop to dry it and then coat the places that got too dark with white again or a white/orange blend. Sounds like you did the right thing! Drying it quickly before it continues to blend will stop the darker shade from going too far.
I love how this turned out, really awesome, thanks for the tutorial! BTW, curious question, are you or are you related to anyone from western Pennsylvania? I knew a few people with the same last name that you have (and it's one I haven't heard much outside of western and central PA).
