Goodwill in all the second hand shops are pricing things higher because they see the resellers videos how they paid peanuts for an item and then go resell it online for a much higher amount
Yes, you're right. I was just worried that it wouldn't sell. Another viewer suggested that the decanter was swedish glass. Whatever it may be, I love it 😊
I forgot to mention that the crackle pitcher is likely Pilgrim Glass because of the look of the pontil. The green glass compote is Italian, and not Fenton (I’ve seen it with a, “Made in Italy” label). I don’t recognize the purple glass cornucopia, but it might be “Sooner” Glass. “Sooner” Glass is not a great seller, that I’ve ever noticed. I am a glass person. 🙂
@ You are very welcome. I left a long-ass comment for you, but I don’t see it. Maybe I forgot to post it. Oopsie. Anyway, I’m enjoying your thrifting videos. 🙂
omg.. all the staff was so nice 😍 if next time u have time go to malaysia, there have a thirfting store called JALAN JALAN JAPAN.. the stuff over there was very nice too.. and the price is also reasonable🥰
New sub! Love your videos. Can I ask, do you prefer to resell on eBay or Etsy? As a Canadian reseller, I find eBay difficult with the shipping costs. Etsy customers seem ok to pay what it costs but ebay customers seem to expect free/cheap shipping. Maybe just my experience? Happy New Years!
Hello and welcome! I personally prefer eBay because of the buyer/seller protection. So, here in the States, eBay offers what's called an "international shipping" program. There is a limit on weight/size, and not all countries are eligible. I can ship to a buyer in Canada for the same price as I would to someone here in the US. As long as it meets all the requirements.
I think it all depends on the person and how badly they want said item. Some individuals are cheap or just don't realize how pricy shipping costs are these days! Especially if you're shipping from out of the US.
Omg, you had a great day at the savers, the portmerien is an awesome find!!!
Yes, it was!
I loved the little Norcrest birds. I collect them
I should be putting them up on eBay soon. Make sure you give me a follow on there!
Love the Norcrest birds
They are just adorable 😊
A bag of elephants!! 😍😍
Portmeirion!!!!🎉
Super lucky that day 😄
I'm new to channel and just subscribed. I enjoyed your video. You found some great pieces 😊
Hello and welcome! You are so sweet, thank you 😊
Loved the dwarfs!! The Norcrest birds were great if they weren't broken and KEN EDWARDS!?! Good piece!!
OMG lady! Exciting!
So exciting! Thank you for watching 😊
I really like the little jam jars. I've never seen any quite like that
Neither have I! I was surprised that Lenox made them.
Good choice on going back for the birds!!!
I had to go back for them! Couldn't leave them there.
Beautiful haul! But I can't fathom those prices, for a thrift,it's like u shop at TJ. Thanks for sharing with us
Some of the prices are ridiculous.
Goodwill in all the second hand shops are pricing things higher because they see the resellers videos how they paid peanuts for an item and then go resell it online for a much higher amount
Great haul!
Thank you!
The Aynsley basket for $4.80 (20% discount) was a great deal. The red decanter is probably Bohemian...Czech, 1970s. Possibly Canadian (Chalet.)
Yes, you're right. I was just worried that it wouldn't sell.
Another viewer suggested that the decanter was swedish glass. Whatever it may be, I love it 😊
That bowl u first picked up is gorgeous ❤
It was nice, but unfortunately it's not worth picking up for resale.
The flamingo that lights up sells well and for a nice profit
Yeah, I saw. But Savers was asking $20 for it 😮
Im so jealous.....your Savers prices are incredibly cheap. Those Portmeirion canisters are an incrediible find! Good for you!
I think it all depends on whose pricing that day, because I've seen ridiculous prices on items in the past! Thank you!
Chickens always sell in my booth !
That's fun! I'm thinking of getting a booth at one of my local antique malls! Thank you for watching ☺️
Hi! I was wondering if you still had the little birds? I LOVE them! Was bummed when you didn’t pick them up at first.
Yes, I do. They are adorable!
If you have a small dremmel tool you can sand the sharp edges of those flower petals down.
Ah, I didn't think of that! Good idea! I'll keep that in mind for next time 🙂

Yes, some days are better than others! Maybe one day I will visit Malaysia 😊 Thank you for watching!
Nice finds
Thank you 😊
The container in with the owl could sell well, they are hand crafted boxes
Not sure which container you're referring to 🤔
You shouldn't have left that norcrest bird behind! It probably would go for at least 55 to 65.00
You are right! I grabbed it at the end 😄
Do you still have them? I LOVE them and was so bummed when you didn’t pick them up at first.
I do. I haven't listed them yet.
Wow we don’t have good thrift stores in Tn 😮
Oh trust me it's hit or miss with these in my area!
Sell me those canisters! 😍😍
They'll eventually go on eBay😄
I wish we had a savers! What State do you live in? How come you don’t list your eBay shop?
We just had our 3rd one open up here in northern Illinois. I have yet to go check it out. It's 1.5 hr drive from me.
You should have bought the colbalt Murano vase. The polised bottom was a dead give away. They go for about 60$.
I wasn't certain about it so I left it.
@ThriftingLakeCounty I subscribed. I like your channel
Thank you! I appreciate that 😊@@leisahammonds9653

@@ThriftingLakeCounty interesting! I’ll have to check into that program. I hadn’t seen the option but I could just be oblivious lol thanks!
You found some great stuff! May I ask what day you went on? Was it a weekday or weekend?
Right! That doesn't always happen, though, lol.
Sure! I went during the week on a Wednesday. This Savers puts items out Tuesday-Saturday.
I hate when stores blast the music. Gives me a headache and anxiety 😮
Yeah, it's annoying at times.
Did you say “ The seven dorves “? 😂
Haha probably 🤣 I was too excited when I saw them, didn't even notice the hefty price of $25 on them!
Yuck someones hair remover 😮😢
It's a laser hair remover. So no nasty hair to deal with 😆
