I've had a buzz cut 4 times in my life. It's great until you want it to grow in and then it becomes hard to deal with.
Absolutely! Coming up to the 1 year anniversary of my buzzcut and I have no plans of growing it out. It truly feels so liberating! (And it's so easy to take care of!) Thanks for making this video! ❤️

Yes that’s her cuz she has photos of her buzz cut her real name is Merine and she mentioned how much hate she got because people felt she didn’t cut her hair for the right reasons instead, some people felt she was selfish! But yeah that’s her and she’s blonde now her hair has grown out to her shoulders besides Asian hair grows fast! It took mine 6 years to grow back out😐

I love it! When I was diagnosed with cancer my husband, dad, brothers, and sister shaved their heads with me and we actually had fun doing it! I didn’t mind having a shaved head, but when my eyelashes and eyebrows fell out it sucked.

Meg Griffin, I have shoulder length hair. It takes me 5 minutes total to put it into a fancy bun. When I had shorter hair, I spent 30-40 minutes styling it because it was too short to pull back. Never again. Shorter hair is too high maintenance.

Kat Eliza, if you work in a chemical laboratory, you’re legally required to pull your hair back, even if that means putting it in two short pigtails if it’s too short for a ponytail.
I spend a lot of time in the laboratory.
I wasn’t going to wear the short, stubby pigtails. So I spent a ridiculous amount of time and many bobby pins just pinning it back to look as nice as possible. I’m not returning to those days. Ever.
Long hair is low maintenance as long as you don’t damage it (sulfate shampoos, silicone products, and heat styling). Healthy hair doesn’t need all that stuff to look silky. And I have curly hair, so I know the struggles of frizzy hair. I have found the holy grail of gentle hair care that leaves my hair soft, shiny, and no need for mousse and hair gels to look presentable.

a basketboy defying gender stereotypes. Boosting self confidence, because it puts the focus on your face, and you can’t “hide” behind your long hair. Self expression, if that’s how you feel best, it’s just a great haircut. Some are doing it to raise awareness for certain illnesses or to support loved ones. Long hair is pretty heavy on your head, it’s a freeing feeling. Low maintenance haircut. Very versatile when it comes to dying/coloring your hair. Showing that you don’t give a fuck about the opinions that dickheads like you have!!

Throughout the entirety of grade school I was the girl with the really long blonde (It's actually a ginger blonde, or strawberry blonde) hair. It broke my heart a little that she didn't like that identity. I take great pride in it. She looks beautiful either way. ❤️

I also buzzed and donated my hair last week. I did it because my beautiful little sister who had amazing hair passed away in decemeber. She had to go trough brain surgery and they had to buzz her hair off. It was waist length. I want other little children to feel beautiful again.❤

Having went through Cancer I cannot tell you how grateful I was to the person that cut their hair so that I could have a wig. I had super long hair my whole life and was devastated when it fell out. My wig brought me so much joy and definitely made the journey easier. I prayed for my hair donors (it was two donors that made up my wig) every night.

There's nothing wrong with using descriptors to explain your friends to people who don't really know them by name. But it's something to consider: why do so many people consider it a loss to cut hair short? Why do we place so much importance on hair that it's 'sad' to not have any?

I cut off 18 inches of hair a couple years ago and donated it to Wigs for Kids. I'm thinking about getting a pixie cut and donating again.
(please do your research on what association you donate to. some places charge people for the wigs.)
