@@jrlovefg hello. Thx so much for watching. I’m looking forward to releasing the initial video in the series hopefully by the end of next week. Have a great day.
@@QuikTechSolutions You are welcome Tony. Yes, it was nice. My daughter and granddaughter came along, so my two grandchildren got to spend a lot of time together 🙂
Hey Tony, Great video, looking forward to the next video in the series. I have also been doing a series on the GCC6010 if you want to take a look for some tips/answers, anyway in answer to your question about the SD slot... The SD Card slot, USB slot (for flash drives) and NAS storage options are used for storing of Instant Messenger conversation, voice call conversations and also video call conversations, as these automatically get stored internally by default which could quickly fill up depending on how much is being stored, so these extra storage options are there for that reason. Hope this helps.
Hello Tim! Thx for watching. I appreciate it very much. I will check out your series for sure. Thanks for the detailed answer on the Micro SD, once you explained it makes total sense. Appreciate it. Have a great day.
Im very interested. As much as i like my custom OPNSense box, i really like the idea of this box. With the 2.5Gb SFP ports, this could actually replace my OPNSense and it has more functionality with the PBX built in.
I am guessing the SD card slot is for config backups. I like the idea of a built in PBX. I do think the choice of 2.5 gbps ports is odd considering 10 gbps doesn't cost that much more.
Openwrt or death! I didn't see any cpu listed, whats the extend of SQM capabilities? Out of all the things OpenWRT brought for me, this was the one technology that made upgrading obsolete. Speeds were never an issues, devices in the household fighting over who got the most bandwidth was.
Hello! Appreciate you watching and your inquiries. Grandstream QOS does prioritize VoIP, but you can get in there and do some tweaking for sure. If OpenWRT is working for you, then stay with what works. Have a great day.
Taking a close up look at the Grandstream GCC6010 appliance. Could this be your next router?
If I was looking at replacing my pfsense router then I would look at this device. Very impressive.
Thanks for watching. For the price of $199, this is a full featured box. Thinking about replacing my Edgerouter 6P.
@@QuikTechSolutions that is a good price!
Wow, that little box packed with a lot features. I will be watching
@alonzosmith6189 thanks Alonzo. Looking forward to getting the series started.
Card slot = backup storage, recording storage
Thanks Willie. Appreciate the info.
Really like the new format of your videos, Tony. Looking forward to the new series to learn more about these devices!
Thanks for watching Frank. Appreciate the kind words.
I am excited for the videos in the series and can't wait to watch them.

@@QuikTechSolutionsI just noticed you’re wearing the grandstream shirt. Nice.
@GrishTech ha! Yes, they sent me the shirt a while ago. Figured it was a good video to wear it.

Does the POE functionality allow you power any USB powered device?
Thanks for watching. You can power USB devices off the ethernet ports using a poe to usb adapter. Have a great day.
