It’s beliefs about a certain group of people, which have underlying truths. A generality or stereotype, which is based off true underlying observable factors. White people do tend to earn more and thus tip more, what is a minuscule amount to whites is a large amount to people in developing countries. Hence whites get preferential treatment, sell to them and you might have them taking back a handful of your products. The children of intact black families earn more, but since the 60s, there’s been a steady decline in intact black families, and now 70% are born to single parent households, hence their negative reputation.

Its easier to travel to Europe and Asia. I can go anywhere in Europe without a Visa, just book a hotel and hop on a plane. Same with much of Asia. I can't do that with say Ghana or Kenya, which in my opinion are the best countries in Africa. I'd need a Visa, and a Yellow Fever shot. On top of that why would we even go there? Much of Africa honestly isn't that developed. If I'm going on vacation, I want to be comfortable. That said I do plan on visiting later this year just to clear my bucket list, likely to SA as its one of the few Visa free countries, but until African nations decide to open up a bit more its unlikely we'll be traveling there much.

I offer this in response to an analogy of Russia's abusive relationship with Ukraine apparently designed to rally US support for defending the latter. An similar analogy can be made of the USA's abusive relationship with African American people who have, for centuries, been "feeding him, letting him use her car & giving him whatever he asked for until she built up the confidence to call it quits." Every time African Americans have attempted to break away from our American domestic violence abusers and tried to "pull ourselves up by the bootstraps", the US broke into our homes, ransacked it, and bombed the the entire premises. In rageful retaliation for the audacity of his subordinate partner to attempt to severe the abusive relationship, the USA not only cut off the African American's bootstraps, but subsequently, completely burned her boots. Ultimately, in decisive and calculated fashion, the US decimated the entirety of her possessions beyond restoration. Think, Black Wall Street, Soul City NC, Black Panthers, (US invasion of) Grenada just to name a few.
The same is true of the abusive relationship of Europe to Africa who robs her of her jewels (resources, art, artifacts), human-trafficks/enslaves Africa's children, denies her historic ancient achievements while claiming them as her own, misappropriates her culture, ridicules her beauty while strutting it in high fashion (silicone breasts, enhanced butt, Botox lips, tanning techniques, etc), uses her biology (scientific research in melanin, stem cells, organ transplants etc.). Consider Africa's numerous, heroic efforts to release herself from the grip of her abusers: the South African fight against the oppressive Apartheid regime, Ghana's fight for liberation from Britain, Patrice Lumumba's (DRC) bloody fight for liberation against brutal Belgium control, Angola's struggle to break the chains of her ruthless Portuguese colonialists, just to name a few. Let's not forget China's present-day "interest" in Africa and its attempt to seduce her out of her God-given wealth (natural resources) while creating a state of modern day bondage through unforgiving, endless economic debt.
In sum, it is uninformed at best and hypocritical at worst, for African Americans and Africa to become involved in EuroAmerican conflicts when we ourselves have many problems --rampant racism, police violence,homelessness/gentrification, drug addiction/hopelessness, educational inequality, voter suppression, resistance to Culturally Responsible Teaching/CRT, etc.-- of our own to contend with. No need to fight another's war abroad when we have a centuries-old domestic one to continue fighting here at home.

All black people aren't from Africa. Some are native to Americans and other places. The real Africans go to Brittain, they don't really travel to Ukraine. So we all talk different, we are not apart of the same nationality.

It is so easy to see racial issues as black and white. This is a very open minded and articulately stated perspective on race relations in Eastern Europe.

@@MM-qz7dq My uncle was born in Soviet Union in 1970s. When he was 5 he saw a black student from an African country. It was the first black person he met. As his mother told me his reacted with shouting "Oh, look! n*gro!". The "n" word wasn't considered to be politically incorrect in the USSR btw. It was not because he was racist, but because a black person in the street was, you know, something totally unusual for a little Soviet child from a small town.

I've never heard so much wisdom, such insightfulness into the supposed 'racism' in the Eastern European societies. They were blocked from the world for 50 years, no foreign travel was allowed, the societies are very homogenous, there has been no cultural mixing. Let those pepple get out of the horrible fifty years' suppression and isolation, let them defend themselves against the brutal Russian fascism. And yet some in the comments here still don't get it. Thank you so much for this intelligent insight.
