    Thanks again,
Do you sleep east west or north south ?
    What is your sleeping with?

Thanks for watching! We normally sleep South to North so our heads are by the cabinets and we can access our headlamps, phones, etc. Because we’re on the shorter side (5’3” and 5’7”) we could easily sleep East to West, but we like the bigger bed and both having accessibility to get down from the bed easily. The only downfall is we have to push the bed in every morning to make coffee, breakfast, travel, etc. As for bedding, we sleep with the cushions that came with it and find them okay. We also have king size sheets and two wool blankets that keep us nice and warm. Hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.

Enjoy your videos. Can you tell me more about your awning? What brand is it and how did you mount it to your camper? Looking to do something similar.

Thanks for watching and commenting! It’s a Fiamma F45S. It actually came factory installed by Four Wheel Campers, so we didn’t install it ourselves. Sorry we don’t have more info on that. We sure do love it though.

New Sub :) So helpful! We’re heading out first week May & trying to choose BLM primitive spots for a 2 week adventure in our camper van. 1) Did you feel safe 2) Are generators ok if no one’s near? (if we need air) 3) Do we need BLM permits where you went? So excited but it’s overwhelming! ty!

Awesome! Thanks for subscribing and watching! Sounds like you’re going to have a wonderful adventure. Yes, we felt completely safe the entire time we were there. Since you’ll be on BLM, I don’t think there are really any rules related to generators, especially if no one is around. Of course, if you have neighbors, the respectful thing to do would be to not run it at all times of the day, which I’m sure you’d be aware of. Lastly, no where we went required BLM permits. Hope that helps! Have fun! 🍻

Thank you for sharing. How far is Color Rock Quarry from the hwy? Do you happen to have the coordinates for this beautiful boondocking site? TIA.

We don’t have the coordinates, but here’s some pretty good info from another site: www.birdandhike.com/Hike/Wilderness/Muddy/ColoRd/_ColoRd.htm Only thing we did different is when we came up to the trailhead, we went left on a pretty obscure little trail and found the spot we did. Happy adventuring!
