Today in our #MaJelivReactions segment we react to Episode 5 of Marvel’s WHAT IF…Zombies and we have lots to say after the show. Hope you can stick with us and hear our thoughts.
This stellar cast continues to show great work in this Episode but it left us feeling unresolved. Is this how it ends in the comics?!
Our understanding is this episode is based on Marvel Zombies the comic book series by Robert Kirkman and a whole writer’s team…but if you know another source let us know in the comments below…

Zombie Thanos with the Inifinity Gauntlet is REALLY just rubbing salt in the wound! lol.
This was so super gruesome. Never expected this from Disney. But I think they only got away with it because it is animated. In real life... No chance 😂 I liked it. And Thanos was 😎👍

@@MaJeliv Old school Disney was dark(not full on like the OG stories they pulled from), Disney uses their sub studios for their more mature content they don't put their logo with.
In the marvel zombies comics they retain their abilities and emotions just the hunger for flesh is uncontrollable.its like you guys are getting confused about the terrifying aspect of this. It makes sense if you stop looking at it from a regular zombie movie perspective. These books were real popular that even DC did a version of this called Dceased! And this being gruesome for Disney isn't true. Disney had some dark animation stories b4 marvel and we are getting Deadpool and wolverine soon.
Man! I'd like to read that Marvel storyline. Zombies that can talk and are strategic?! Sounds insane and dope as hell. 😃
I agree that the shows are preparing the viewers by introducing concepts that will be expanded in the movies.
I've seen on various forums people saying they are going to skip shows like WandaVision, Loki & What If?
They are going to be so lost when these themes turn up in the movies.

What's interesting is that even with the TVA no longer pruning these timelines, with the exception of Captain Carter's timeline, it seems like each of these universes still come to an end in some way, shape or form.

Not necessarily. Doctor Strange cut off the tentacles from the interdimentional being and could still get its power so Captain Carters Universe could still be in danger. And that makes sense either way cuz tentacles from octopuses will still move after being cut.
This episode was WILD! It was legitimately scary! I was thoroughly blown away

This episode was one of the variations that Doctor Strange saw in his visions, in Infinite War
Great reaction! My favorite episode by far! I 💯 HARD AGREE with your mom! The beginning of every episode has the universe fracturing into different facets, each of which highlights a single character. The show is exploring these facets. Different aspects of character. Dr. Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness is gonna be crazy!!!

This episode was relentless. Loved it. I hope all the episodes are stand alone. The concept of WHAT IF..is clear as far as I'm concerned. Tell a good story, leave the audience entertained and curious then move on to the next tale. I mean if nothing else, these episodes are in keeping with the current theme: Multi-verse.
Think of these episodes as branches like at the end of LOKI, season one.
thanos has to get the stone. the snap is an 'absolute point'
We don't know that the Snap is absolute for this universe though

Ye, the first few episodes had kind of a happy ending and bright future but the last 2 episodes they really keep showing us the dark versions of certain universes than would eventually cease to exist, previously Dr. Strange, then this. The most current episode was not that bright too, but still had some hope at the end

There are 2 plot holes
Like, if vision could kill himself, why did he ask Wanda in Inifinity War
And how did Thanos get the Time Stone, when Dr. strange didn't even go to Titan
because un infinity war he didn’t wanted to kill himself he wanted to destroy the stone so thanos couldn’t get it and that kill him

Different universe, different things happens, Thanos getting the Time Stone is a completely different way here, Vision in the original Infinity War wants the stone to be "destroyed" not "removed", no plot holes, just different events that happened

There's 9 episodes in season 1 of What If...., so we have 3 more episodes to go, so we should see the Finale of what happens with Zombie Thanos and the whole Season.
