I'm 40 years old, never played any instrument. I just bought a small piano to try, thanks to you I finally feel I started learning. Great teacher, thank you, kind regards from Honduras.
I'm 30 I just started. I suggest you learn reading as well. I was waiting for my piano to arrive and just learned reading from pianote and a few more TH-cam channels, practiced a bit in an app. And was able to play "happy birthday song" just by looking at the notes! Haven't felt this happy in years haha. Being able to play a song feel so different. Good luck to you!! ❤️
First time touching a keyboard, clocks, i had this down in about 3 hours, one hand only😅, will practice clocks all this week before moving on, Iam 57 in December never too 😅 late, will buy a proper 88 key digital piano hopefully next year.
Wonderful lesson Kevin! I love Coldplay and I will sure practice those songs! I am a proud Pianote student, you guys are making my dream of playing piano true! ❤
I fully learnt Skyfall from your previous tutorial, ever thought of doing a sustain pedal tutorial? The way you explain things might make it easier to get my head around. Thanks.

Depending on your hands, it can be tough. Instead of doing octaves, you can do a root and a fifth. I had a teacher once who could do tenths and elevenths. A tall guy with massive hands.
I've been trying to play for 10 years!!!! And I still SUCK! I think some people were just gifted with music ability as it seem to come naturally to them. I'm a pilot and flying comes naturally to me but music is THE HARDEST IN MY LIFE!!!!! I get very frustrated 😤

Oh sheesh 😬
I am 34. I am starting out as well. The key is consistent practice, which I struggle with. 😅
My favourite is Clocks. But all 3 songs are fantastic.
Clocks has got to be the one!
Everglow has a beautiful melody. These will be fun to practice. The chord changes are tricky for a beginner.
You’re a great teacher. Instructions are crystal clear. These are fun songs and know how to play these. I enjoyed just watching the tutorial.

Doing that octave spread is why I never took piano as a kid. I still can’t do it in my late 60s

Playing c+d+f+a sounds weird on my piano is it because the piano or something else cuz the sound in the video is much cleaner
❤
Thanks!
