For anyone who starts their plants from seed...it's almost certain that more seeds come in the seed packs than what what you need,at least with tomatoes and peppers...I'm going to suggest we all plant a few extra plants to give people so they can learn to grow their own food. Rather that feed them from my garden I 'd rather they grow their own. Just a thought.
I actually did that last year I bought in trays full of plants 🌱 in solo cups to my little business and offered them to anyone who wanted them. People loved it. They would come in again and show me pictures of the plants and how they were growing.
I lived through the recession of the early 70's as a newlywed and it was tough though my young husband had a stable job. I'd find employment only to face a layoff or the company going bankrupt. I'd buy a whole chicken and bake it on Sunday or a beef roast only to think of 3 meals out of it during that week. I still can't look at bologna or hot dogs. Now I'm retired and dependent on my life savings and Social Security. I'm more concerned now than any other war and especially with no government to count on at all. BUT God is in control. If you do not know Him, my fellow peeps, it's time to get acquainted.

Thank you so much for all you do patara! I have been watching you since I was about 14 or 15 and I'm now 23. I recently had a baby 3 months ago and my husband and I have tried to up our preparedness just by little things everyday. I am doing my first big garden this year and hoping to put in some fruit trees and bushes, I continue to can and put away my five cans.. Just worried and questioning if it will be enough so this week we are committing every 2 weeks to self defense as well! I just wanted to tell you how much of a wonderful woman you are and thank you from the bottom of my heart and my families for all the knowledge you spread to us all!
You are doing a lot! It helps to have a husband who thinks like you. The biggest reason for prepping, I would think, showed up in your arms 3 months ago. You will be ok. Blessings to you and your family.
Every time I go to the grocery store I hear Patara saying "remember to pickup 5 cans". So I do!!! Thank you. Have been getting extra water too. I don't see any neighbors unpacking groceries. Oh well... You're the only one who gives me encouragement to not give up and keep on preparing. I appreciate you so much......
Before I forget again, I would like to suggest that those of us who have dandelions in our yards, try to cultivate them. I am going to dedicate a couple of large pots to transplant them into. It is hard for me to bend over long enough to pick the leaves from the ground. This year my motto is "work smarter rather than harder".
We didn't know we were out of recession when I was growing up in the 50's because we were poor and a large family. My dad passed away when I was 16 and I had 5 younger brothers and sisters, so I dropped out of school to go to work in a factory to support my family. My mom was still nursing my baby brother. My mom and dad raised eleven children without asking the government for a penny, they worked on the farm from daylight to dark. After my dad passed my mom did sign up for commodities and got the peanut butter, powdered milk, cheese and canned chicken. That truly helped us make it when we had to move because the man that owned the farm knew that after daddy died he didn't have the expertise to farm it himself. That was a blessing in disguise because the house that came with the farm wasn't fit to live in and the owner wouldn't do anything to make it better. I've always liked to read so in my 30's I went back to school at night.
Wasn't that commodity cheese awesome? My college roommate took me home wth her one weekend, and they had some in the fridge - their cat would show up when she heard the door open and dance on her hind legs until she got a piece! I've never looked at velveeta the same way, lol!
Another great video Young Lady! Thank God for Appalachian Women! I grew up in East Tennessee and spent my summers in Alabama! My Grand parents taught me how to garden, can and even sew! I also chopped cotton every summer! God has blessed us and will guide us to victory over the evil that is oppressing us!
I'm in the suburbs in So Cal and have a patio. Last year I tried to grow tomatoes for the first time. It was sad. I left it out there and today it has 6 tomatoes and lots of yellow flowers. There is hope, so don't give up! This spring, I have multiple large pots and.vegetable seeds to try and I'm learning how to grow micro greens indoors. God bless everyone!
I’m 73 and I was brought up with parents who did go through the Great Depression it was very thrifty childhood They didn’t through anything away . My Mom saved the bread wrappers to reuse and Dad would bend over and pick up a crooked nail and say he’d straighten that out later to reuse . Just to name a few . So no I don’t think most people today have a clue of what coming . Thank You Patara for being a child of God doing His greatest commandments .
I'm 74 young, I feel my parents have given me the tools & strength so our family will survive. I have planned and prepared for very dark times. Be strong!!
Haha, I had a good laugh about the "volunteers"...obviously not a gardener! Volunteers are my favorite plants, it's like a mystery surprise every gardening season. Thanks for sharing that comment, Patara, had a good chuckle.
I'm over 70 and I'm still planting a small garden and canning. I lost a freezer last year during tornado season. I lost all my food that I put up. This year is canning only. I really have done alot. I share videos and talk to everyone about this season of hard times. I worry about things and I wish I didn't.
We had a hen get frost bitten at Christmas, too. She then molted. Poor thing looked so pitiful. But now, she lost the tips of her comb and has grown her feathers back and is now the prettiest hen in the flock!
Patara, yes, it’s all by design. Deliberate and calculated to cause the most damage possible. We have a regime that doesn’t care a wit about Americans. Especially those of us in strong red states in flyover country. My heart breaks for the people of Ohio who have been ignored by the current administration. Thankfully, a true leader stepped up to let these folks know that they are not alone. Not invisible. These folks need all the prayers and support we can give them. 🙏🏻
Blessings, Cynthia. Thank you, Thank you. I appreciate your concerns. I live about 4 hours from the derailment. There is trouble around the world... we unite thru Love and prayer... helps us strengthen our inner being helps us to 'not fear' - 'let our hearts no be troubled'. I pray angels keep watch over your families and neighbors and upon your vehicles everywhere you go. Take care. Peace attend ye all. 🙌🏼💖😊
Perhaps if the PREVIOUS administration didn't cut all of those regulations i.e. "red tape" (as he called it and bragged about) on corporations, things like the train derailment wouldn't have happened. But continue to live in your red bubble of idiocy.
I'm so thankful my folks taught me survival skills, our skills could actually save lives. It's hard to get the younger people to embrace learning to survive, so many are still asleep.
Volunteers! Hahaha that is hilarious. Can't be a gardener to not know how wonderful "growing" volunteers are. I have tons of chamomile coming up already. So thankful.
I’m from a family who moved from Kansas to Oklahoma before the land run in 1889 to start a new life with opportunities that were offered there. My great grandpa was a founder of OKC in an era of real men and women who weren’t afraid of work to improve their future. They called that the pioneer spirit. Rough times make tough people. Our problem is we are in an era of desiring to be in our comfort zone. Greed and power turn people into sociopaths with no empathy for others. Only the faithful who are awake to what is going on can save this country….and it is us!
I am so proud of myself I filled 3 half gallon jars with dehydrated mixed vegetables 😁 and started my seeds for my first time garden this year. All thanks to you and watching your channel
I have planted my heirloom seeds and watching them break through the soil. I refuse to buy commercial plants this year because they suck!!!! Most of my coworkers are soooo unawake that it scares me. I'm going to keep moving forward and praying that my seeds grow and give me an abundance of veggies this year. Love your videos and honesty!
Upstate NY here, I started some seeds indoors for the first time ever. So far, every seed is popping up. Unbelievable. Last year, I bought plants from a garden center and had to re-buy the same plants twice. Won't do it again.
Just think...if everyone who follows you is stocking up and growing food for even just their families, that's half a million people you've helped hang on for the hard times. THANK YOU for taking the time to make videos!
As I’m watching/listening to this, I’m packing up our house. We are moving back to the homestead in VT April 1st. My husband had work out in NY for the past 6 years. We are DONE. Debts paid off and it is time to go home. We’ll be across the road from his parents. Can’t wait!!! Also are they’re volunteers like the Vols!! Am I right?! 🤣
Clif High’s Substack from a couple days ago is called “Clapping For Them.” It’s an awesome story about how he and two friends brought down a very evil teacher when he was a senior in high school. And he explains how only a few people putting pressure on politicians brings huge changes. There ARE things we can do to “win” over the evil forces. Clif explains how to get our power back. Do not give in y’all! We DO have power and we just need to use it. (No bang bangs needed!). We can bring ourselves back from the edge by using our minds!
I always told my daughter she didn't have big muscles, so she needed to use her brain instead. If there is a will, there is a way to get it done. It may not be pretty, and I think it is about to get REAL ugly.
Danny DeVito is one of my favorite actors. Imagine naming a chicken after him. How original Patara. I love to see your farm. It makes me wish that when I was younger and earning "good money," that I had purchased some property and had a farm. I did have about 2 acres of property and horses for about 10 years. Loved it!!! I am so happy for you and your family living on a beautiful farm. Geraldine seems to be doing great. Volunteers coming to help you!!!! LOL People are so strange. That person certainly did jump to conclusions. The individual apparently doesn't know much about farming or gardening. I have been watching the situation in East Palestine, OH the last few days. Many people have said that the accident was planned. President Trump took a truckload of water and food to the area with him to East Palestine. That was such a great thing for him to do. Biden doesn't seem to care about anything about Ukraine. Sad!!! Now, I am going to have my little container garden this year. Learned so much from my 5 contains last year. I plan to expand this year. Thank you for this awesome video. Did you hear about the revival at Asbury College in Wilmore, KY? It finally ended last night after two weeks. The revival brought people from around the world. God is working. We need to have faith, pray, and read God's word.
Went to Walmart today, went to baking isle to get bread flour and the section for flour and cornmeal was so small and almost empty I was in shock I ask an older gentleman is this all the flour they have. He replied yes and said the dog food he usually buys went from $11.00 to $20.00. So I went to Aldi, and they just had one palet of sugar and one section with all-purpose flour. No self rising flour or any cornmeal. Ended up at Kroger's, which was well stocked with flour and cornmeal. Everyone needs to listen to Patera and stock up.
Thank you for sharing your life and insight! You are like my BFF and each video helps me get through this crazy world 😊 Prayers for you and all us working towards becoming self reliant.
This is something to laugh about in these times. I keep canned goods under the bed. Always have. Came home from work and there was a smashed, opened, sardine can at the foot of the bed. My dog part terrier and chihuahua had gotten into and ate every last drop. Will be planting anything I can in whatever. Getting clean plastic shower curtains for plant coverage. Figuring out how to set up lights to grow inside. Prayers for all. No it will be not be enough yet I ain't gonna down without a fight.
I find myself having to censure myself when I’m talking to my sons about what I feel will happen. I know they don’t want to believe anything really bad will happen, it never has in their lifetimes. I just plan to prepare for us all to the best of my ability
My husband had to squeeze my hand and signal for me to shut up at Thanksgiving dinner!😂 I think that my kids are on the same page, but see, my husband doesn't want to hear it.
I had 70 plants of tomatoes germinated, 50 plants of peppers and lots of kale and onions. Im excited about this growing season. We're working everyday on our pantry and garden. Thanks Patara for your videos. You are making a difference in people's lives:) P.S. Im on my 2nd months of Krav Maga, absolutely love it
My mom is 95 years old and went through the depression. She said they didn't have a damn thing and almost froze to death in the winter time. Talks about how they all huddled in the kitchen around the stove to keep warm.
I 've been gardening on and off for 50 years...I know what a volunteer is. For the ignorant, they are seeds of plants that reseed themselves. I'll take them as it is one less thing to plant. Thanks Patara...and thank you Jesus for the volunteers!
We have schemes here, one called WWOOF.....world wide opportunities on organic farms. People love volunteering whether for a day project, a weekend or a few months. They often camp out but get fed. Its a win win!! James and you would make great tutors xx
I use Cozy Coop heaters in my coop, they can't catch on fire and my chickies stay roasty toasty! It was -20 here in SD the last few days and everyone is fine!
Thank you Patera, sometimes I start feeling obessessed with worry but then I remember my Lord Jesus has me in His hands. My peace comes from me doing my best and knowing my Jesus in the end is in control.
The way I know the term, is a plant growing up from a random seed from last year's crop. Examples: a tomato plant popping up in the middle of your string beans. My Mom would laugh and say something like, "Where did that come from? Must've been from one of those rotten tomatoes I threw to the side of the garden last year, and the rototiller brought the seeds back over here." Or, ever drive past a soybean field and see a few stalks of corn growing in it?
I have a big enclosed shower that doesn't work (well, it leaks at the bottom at the drain), so I'm going to use that as more prepping space. Using totes for storing food in cans.
Go, girl!!! Noone does it better, than you, Patara! I have no idea what that was about, volunteers...but that is a really good thing to have. I know a lot of people who starts their farms...with volunteers help...The volunteers learn a lot while helping, and they go for a bed and food...something to think about...getting help with all heavy work as well. We have to listen to all voices that come to our help now. Grandma came to my mom in the night some months ago..and said.. Don't forget the seeds! Buy seeds!!! My mom told me...and I assured her I had already thought about that...but I immediately went shopping some more, because they were on sale...and even today I bought some...hrm🤪 ok...it was a load of them...At least I'm not out of seeds...Blessings coming from Sweden🇸🇪🤗
The volunteers story was hilarious! Thanks for that. I'm planning on checking out the farmers market, I want to start trying to sell seedlings and maybe chicks .... I think getting in a community will be one of the best things we can do.
Patara, you can make me laugh so hard - which I need during these times. Love the Beanie & your answer to the person who didn’t know what “volunteers” are. There aren’t enough that are awake - if they are, they sure don’t act like it! It’s really frustrating but we just have to keep going, doing what we’re doing. Thank you for all you do for us!
I love your comfy farming wardrobe 😍. There's been times I've gone out walking with my dogs out back, checking our garden and perimeter in my Jammie in morning, then one thing after another, I'm in my comfy clothes come dinner time.
Another great message! I remember my Great Aunt Sophia (born 1884) talking about things that happened in her life time. Some our family gardens and cans . Yet so many have no idea of what to do and think we are crazy. Get rid of the poison people in you life and some of the stress is gone. It is ok to say NO. I will do what I need to do for my family. They can go bother someone else
patara is preaching real life, and preaching prepardness, not sure about philosopher? she is not hypothetical in her assessment... not sure the end is near my friend... ur comment made me say huh?
Remember , she is saying to do the best that you can in your particular circumstances . Not everyone is going to be able to homestead or garden . But you can have a pantry with extra canned food and household items to at least keep you going in a SHTF situation . Praying is as important as a prep .
My family thinks I’ve lost my mind because I’m so concerned about this world and the safety of my grandkids. I just can’t seem to get through to them! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Patara...I love you and your channel! I'm doing my best to keep getting ready. I am frustrated because I am one who can't do more. You encourage me to keep going. I'm going to do containers this year. I will definitely be learning, but I need to do something. Thank you for your encouragement!
That volunteer thing cracked me up. Love the hat. You are spot on as usual. It's my first year having chickens (currently in the incubator) so I really appreciate showing us the roos comb in case I have that problem next winter.
Oh wait till you get to watch your chicks hatch. It's so exciting. Build your coop a lot bigger than you actually need as there is something called chicken math.
I’ve been made fun at work but I gave my 30 yr old nurse some seeds and she started them and is so excited about it actually working. She’s going to do a bucket garden and now talking about wanting chickens now. ❤another coworker actually planted so seed potatoes in a box I should her how to do. It makes all the laughing at me worth it
Isn’t it sad how it all is so deliberate. I remember growing up being so proud of America, saying the pledge etc. now it’s so fallen. I have my faith and we will get through this the way we are suppose to get through this. Keep telling the truth.
I'm feel so blessed to have my great grandmother, grandparents, and dad who taught me about the depression and how they lived through it. And all the natural remedies. I just wish I could remember all of them. But, I am being to remember so many of them. We have to save ourselves and our family. And always hold tight to my faith in the Creator and his promise to us. But still topping off and picking up extra feed and animal supplies. Remember, you need to pick up as much as you can, of your animals' medicine and treatments. Because after may 31st we have to go though a animals doctor. And I have always been my own animal doctor. Get your horse wormer if you can find it, antibiotics and many other things you will be needing. And don't forget to pick up your sterli injection needles and feeding items for your newborns that need assistance. Every thing you need for YOUR animals that's like the items they also give to you humans. Get your house in order and pray pray 🙏 🤲
Patera it is YOU and others who have been my inspiration to get out of the city, move up to the mountains and start my first garden from seed last year... and I got seeds inside growing for this year. Getting chicks in the spring and planting raspberries, blueberries and several elderberries. Getting more apple, pear and plum trees.... I am DOING THIS!
I LOVE your beanie!!! Living up north we deal with frostbite. Everyone is doing ok but our -46 days hurt them slightly. I was one who kept the animals inside that whole day and a half and was told I over reacted - but I didn’t lose one chicken or one goat and only two roosters and one hen got noticeable frostbite.
Praying and prepping is my way of life. Was laid off a couple months ago and need to get another job soon. Harder to do at 66. Don't want to deal with the public, the way they treat you. Oh well, God's in control. When I have a chicken that is bleeding anywhere, I put Vicks on it. It heals, keeps it soft and the other ones hate the smell and don't pick on them! Have a great day and God bless 💞
Your videos have been a coach for me! My husband is not on the same page with me! He thinks I shouldn’t b watching any of these kinds of videos! I feel the need to since I’m 71 years of age with some heath issues, I need all the inspiration I can get! I have a robe that would match identically with ur pajamas!😂
I'm blessed being down here in Texas. I have started planting my garden, cool weather crops are growing. We are putting in more fruit tees another apple and another peach and a pear tree. We are working hard on our place. We need to be preparing for everything. God bless you and your family.
Honestly I can’t believe people. I don’t know how you do everything you do for this channel and educate people about the things you do. And then take insults and bad mouthing you. God bless you I certainly appreciate everything you do I love this channel.
I am 71 and remember my Grandma BOTH of them who lived through the Great Depression WE ARE in another DEPRESSION NOW !!! I went to the food store and they moved the meat cans of chicken tuna other meats into a smaller place I MOVED THEM BACK TO WHERE THEY WERE TO BE !!! Just so 1 Person could pick up that can of chicken meat with canned potatoes and mixed vegs. means they have FOOD IN THEIR BELLIES Maybe a 5qts of CHICKEN soup that can go into their bellies and half of it made into a chicken pot pie !!!
Your video tonight brought such great memories back to me when we were young and working in the garden hoeing the weeds everyday after school and picking okra and my arms stinging because my daddy told me wear a long sleeve shirt to pick okra but that fried okra sure was worth it can taste it still today all I learned from him helps me today and your wonderful videos are so helpful just a warm memory tonight... Everyone work your gardens so you will have these warm memories and some delicious fried okra LOL......
I LOVE your hat!!! lol....oh girl!! You go for it. Volunteer veggies and flowers are wonderful to have. We didn't get much of that when I lived in Maine but down here......oh heck yeah!!
Patara, you are a sweetheart! ❤️ Love your videos! We have sooo many crooked people in charge it's sickening. Not sure how it will all get straight again.
Thank you Patara. PINOCCHIO IS ALIVE AND WELL IN THIS ADMINISTRATION AND ALL OF THE OTHER CORRUPTORS. Sad times. Praying for our beautiful, beloved country. Blessings ❤
Thank you for the chicken nursing info! I also laughed at the hat! I could probably use to buy a few of those for Easter baskets???? Luckily I have never had to go to family therapy......we are all NUTS so the I am one of the normal in my family. :)
Whoa, learn something new every time at Appalachia's. Today I hammered my husband b/c I think he doesn't show enough interest in our current events. His reasoning is that if it's something he can't do anything about he doesn't need to get caught up in it. We live in the city, as late 60s early 70s we're not going anywhere. I've done as much as I know to do this far. Being is I didn't start doing anything until around 2021, maybe late 2020 we might be worse off than we are. We're looking for miracle. The first one is to keep you blessed to continue to encourage those of us city dwellers out here. Thanks Patara. Later!
Blessings from Florida Patara and family. It's 10:00 p.m. now. Waited all day for you so I could hear you laugh. Tough times are here. Stay safe and healthy. Love you girl 👍❤
Thanks for always being straightforward - more people are waking up but many have no idea how to prepare! 5 cans a week and more if you can! Great words!
Love you Patara. You are a blessing. I was taught to garden, can, butcher chickens etc. by my grandmother's and their families survived the great depression. People just don't comprehend what skills are necessary to survive. Cooking, sewing, being able to fix things. People please listen to what Patara is saying about being prepared. Thank you and God bless you and your family.
No one's coming to save America Patara. That's why I have taken prepping and being prepared so seriously. I see the trouble that lay ahead, our government is far more corrupt than we have feared.
I tried last year to start my own plants. Out of 25 I might have had 3 that survived after planting. I know I need to invest in a grow light so I am going next week to see about getting me one but financially I am not sure how that is going to work out but I am going to try it. I have been doing research on my area and I know that this week I definitely need to get my tomatoes and peppers in the trays and at the end of March beginning of April I need to get my cucumbers in. I also have a few things I need to get to outside but I have been in a funk lately and been putting it off. But I am going to start today by doing a little bit. I don't know if it is the weather being all funky like yours one day 60-70 degrees then it drops back down to 20-30 degrees if that is why I have been feeling the way I have been but I need to get things done. Thank you for helping the way you do and if I lived closer to you I would volunteer to help on your farm so I can learn more. I feel that whatever I am going to do I need to do it this year because next year things might be a lot different. Thank you again and be safe. I love ya
You are 1,000 percent correct. I believe we need to do whatever we can to prepare for our future well being. I have been keeping a food supply for the future, now about 12 years, and I am doing more and more every day. I think my family will be okay, I have cattle, horses, & chickens, and as long as we have power I have lots of frozen food to rely on. I want to thank you for reminding me of the importance of preparing for the unexpected. I pray for our county. Thank you again!! Here in North Texas
For anyone who starts their plants from seed...it's almost certain that more seeds come in the seed packs than what what you need,at least with tomatoes and peppers...I'm going to suggest we all plant a few extra plants to give people so they can learn to grow their own food. @@lawriefoster5587 ...Exactly!
I actually did that last year I bought in trays full of plants 🌱 in solo cups to my little business and offered them to anyone who wanted them. People loved it. They would come in again and show me pictures of the plants and how they were growing.
This is a wonderful idea!!
That's a great thought but most people you can give them things from your garden and say just come and pick it and I won't do it
Love this it’s so true
Patara…you know you were hoarding ALL the volunteers 😂 all you can do is shake your head and ‘bless their hearts’ .
Bless there hearts says it all
No wonder I couldn't find volunteers for my gardening. 🤣🤣
😂😂😂
I lived through the recession of the early 70's as a newlywed and it was tough though my young husband had a stable job. I'd find employment only to face a layoff or the company going bankrupt. I'd buy a whole chicken and bake it on Sunday or a beef roast only to think of 3 meals out of it during that week. I still can't look at bologna or hot dogs. Amen!
We need HIM more than ever.
I can relate.
Young people today eat out, coffees out, and like most things new to start out life. Second-hand stuff back then for me and now I estate sales, I get like new stuff cheap.
We live debt free.
Sending so much love to America from New Zealand . Can't believe what's happening to America and all countries
🙏 Thank you from Los Angeles for acknowledging us. Sending my love back.
You are in much more Danger than us. Keep your friends, family and firearms handy
Blessings to you from Middle Tennessee

Thank you so much for all you do patara! I have been watching you since I was about 14 or 15 and I'm now 23. I recently had a baby 3 months ago and my husband and I have tried to up our preparedness just by little things everyday.
@@terryhenderson424 , t, absolutely. And don't forget about first aide items like bandaids, pain & allergy medications, ointments, etc.
@Savanah Krontz SO PROUD OF YOU!! Keep it up❤️
Appreciate the vast variety of topics.Learning common sense and applied truths....Thanks!
Me to. She in my ear.

If you put some crushed eggshells in the hole before the tomato plant, it'll keep them from getting blossom end rot.
Great job. Keep it coming.
Ditto, I’m 70 and my parents were the same
Had the same type of parents myself. Still value everything they taught me.
Amen 🙏🏼
I'm 74 young, I feel my parents have given me the tools & strength so our family will survive. I have planned and prepared for very dark times. Be strong!!
Patera, stacking it to the rafters, going again monday for more! Please everyone keep stocking up!
I've been working on silver. I need to get back to food.
I can barely manage to keep my lights on. Really worried for my family
That’s great but doing the best I can now on my 1 a month Social. Coming up and I will be adding more rice, beans flour& butter
Haha, I had a good laugh about the "volunteers"...obviously not a gardener! Volunteers are my favorite plants, it's like a mystery surprise every gardening season. Thanks for sharing that comment, Patara, had a good chuckle.
we always called them suckers.
I'm over 70 and I'm still planting a small garden and canning. I lost a freezer last year during tornado season. I lost all my food that I put up. This year is canning only. I really have done alot. I share videos and talk to everyone about this season of hard times. I worry about things and I wish I didn't.
You're made of the same stuff as my sister. She's 90 ,still grows her veges and puts up pickles and tomato sauce.
I'm going to do a lot of dehydrating this year so that I can have a long term supply as well
We had a hen get frost bitten at Christmas, too.
Agree
Perhaps if the PREVIOUS administration didn't cut all of those regulations i.e. "red tape" (as he called it and bragged about) on corporations, things like the train derailment wouldn't have happened. But continue to live in your red bubble of idiocy.
How much damage, indeed. Deliberate? Without a question. Thank you Patara for your life and spirit. You are greatly appreciated.
I'm so thankful my folks taught me survival skills, our skills could actually save lives. It's hard to get the younger people to embrace learning to survive, so many are still asleep.
So many just don't have a real purpose anymore
Many don’t understand living in need and having to make sacrifices to live.
I'm so glad our son understands even more so now. I'm trying hard to teach them.
Love the beanie and homestead pants. You are so right and wise beyond your years. We will continue to pray for your family and our country.
Great work! Congratulations!
Enjoy your new adventure!
Love Clif and his information.
I love Cliff-and I look forward to hearing from hi.
I always told my daughter she didn't have big muscles, so she needed to use her brain instead. If there is a will, there is a way to get it done. It may not be pretty, and I think it is about to get REAL ugly.
OMG! We need to know where to find a beanie like that. I want one, and I'm sure many others may, too. 🤩
I LOOK FORWARD TO PATARA'S VIDEOS EVERYDAY. SHE GIVES SO MUCH ENCOURAGEMENT TO ALL OF US. PLEASE HIT THE LIKE BUTTON TO SUPPORT HER! STAY BUSY!
That's a great udea - shower curtains!
I find myself having to censure myself when I’m talking to my sons about what I feel will happen. I know they don’t want to believe anything really bad will happen, it never has in their lifetimes. I just plan to prepare for us all to the best of my ability
Same here...people just don't want to know. If they don't know, they won't prepare
@susiecotter3034 When the SHTF, the reality could be, you might have to raise your grand babies.
Normalcy bias
Same here! I'm 66.
My husband had to squeeze my hand and signal for me to shut up at Thanksgiving dinner!😂 I think that my kids are on the same page, but see, my husband doesn't want to hear it.
Keep speaking Truth Sista🙌
..repent, prep, pray, repeat..🤩
LOL Volunteers!!! LOL. We have them in our garden too!!!
I had 70 plants of tomatoes germinated, 50 plants of peppers and lots of kale and onions. Im excited about this growing season. We're working everyday on our pantry and garden. Thanks Patara for your videos. You are making a difference in people's lives:) P.S. Im on my 2nd months of Krav Maga, absolutely love it
Preach it my sweet Sister!!! I Totally Agree with you. Much Love and Blessings to you Patara and Everyone here as well.🙏💙🧡💙🧡💙🧡💙🙏
Stacking it to the rafters in northern Illinois
Keep up good work
My mom is 95 years old and went through the depression. She said they didn't have a damn thing and almost froze to death in the winter time. Talks about how they all huddled in the kitchen around the stove to keep warm.
You are so lucky to still have your mom. I miss mine often.
Precious memories
@@WJanette yes I am fortunate to still have her! Thank you
I always put bag balm pretty thick on my chickens coombs and waddles before the cold snap comes. it works great.
That "volunteer lesson" was hilarious!!!
You have inspired me to try canning. Just got my 921 today. Proud I cut my first crown of broccoli and made hollandaise sauce to go with it.
My goal is to buy a canner and learn also
Sounds delicious!!
Thank you Patera, sometimes I start feeling obessessed with worry but then I remember my Lord Jesus has me in His hands. My peace comes from me doing my best and knowing my Jesus in the end is in control.
Amen sister! 🙏 I can fall fast asleep at night because of it too. Blessings
Well said. Amen
The Citizens!!!!
Wakeup
People!!
I totally agree! Pray and prep!
That was sooo funny about the volunteers. Best laugh I've had all day. My husband just looked at me like I had 3 eyes 😂😂🤣🤣
Volunteers she was referring to was seeds that self planted themselves. Those plants are called Volunteers.
Volunteers…hilarious! I know you don’t use volunteers on your homestead but if you ever needed the help, I would be there in a heartbeat!!!😊
I'm so tickled at Patara. Who else can get in trouble talking about garden plants that seed themselves from the previous growing season!
The volunteers story was hilarious! Thanks for that. I'm planning on checking out the farmers market, I want to start trying to sell seedlings and maybe chicks .... I think getting in a community will be one of the best things we can do.
Doing my best! Thanks for your advice, recipes, and support❤
I trust you, on many levels. Love that you are a woman of faith.
Thanks Patara..I'm 84 and live alone I pickup extra every time I shop.
Love the stocking hat! And those leopard print pants with your plaid jacket. Gurl, you're rocking it!!
Great job! May God continue to bless you and your family
Hi from Panama, nice of Patera to post another video tonight. Thank you!
Patara, if you are remembered at all, you will be remembered as a great philosopher toward the end of the American Imperium.
patara is preaching real life, and preaching prepardness, not sure about philosopher? she is not hypothetical in her assessment... not sure the end is near my friend... ur comment made me say huh?
Remember , she is saying to do the best that you can in your particular circumstances . Not everyone is going to be able to homestead or garden . But you can have a pantry with extra canned food and household items to at least keep you going in a SHTF situation . Praying is as important as a prep .
My family thinks I’ve lost my mind because I’m so concerned about this world and the safety of my grandkids. I just can’t seem to get through to them! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Prayer for them .
Same here!!!😔
So funny!!! Volunteers!!! I needed that laugh.First comment! Always watch your videos.I always prep even @ age of 75!!!
Hi Patara...I love you and your channel! I'm doing my best to keep getting ready. I am frustrated because I am one who can't do more. You encourage me to keep going. I'm going to do containers this year. I will definitely be learning, but I need to do something. Thank you for your encouragement!
Pray and pray some more! Guidance needed worldwide!
Doing all I can to prep. Thank you Patara.
Even the smallest things some of us wouldn’t know, you seem to cover it. God Bless you Sweet Patara
Oh no... that's funny!! Volunteers!!! Lol.
I have always called plants coming up that I did not plants as “Volunteers”. God Bless.
Great word's Patara.
I'm doing what needs to be done and putting my faith and trust in God!
Blessings ❤
Planted mixed lettuce in a huge pot on deck yesterday. SW Ohio. We cover it from frost or bring the pot in.
OMG! You made me laugh so hard about your "volunteers." Just too funny. And I love, love, love your cap.
I love ya
Come on Patara!! Those precious kitties volunteer every day! Lol.
If you don't already can learn to do so. You need backups for backups.
