Taemin is so passionate about everything he does .. and this other side of him with ballads and the way he interprets it always leaves me crying. He is for me the only solo male artist who has made me feel all the emotions that exist and have, even emotions that I don't even know how to explain or classify.. because he just makes everything so different... If you want to watch it again, he did a performance of I'm Crying at his Budokan concert with gymnasts. And it really is a performance. It's him on the stage with the performers all around him and it's so beautiful. You know, if you feel like crying again. But at the same time you'll be a little distracted by what the performers are doing on stage so maybe you won't cry. They have this wheel thing that almost looks like a person sized hamster wheel that they use in the routine and they're in almost steampunk costumes and Taemin is just standing still at the edge of the stage singing. It is a definite check out. If you want.
When you said you’ve never needed an artist the way you need Taemin, that’s exactly how I feel about him. I’m attached to him and SHINee on a deeper level than I’ve ever been to any other artist. I love him as a performer but also as a person and I know we’ll never get to know him 100%, but what he shows us is enough for me. I miss him so much.
I wish other reactors or those who like taemin would see beyond his “title songs” he’s more than just move, want, danger. Of course those alone are iconic but listening and seeing his other stages would let them realize just how much more he is, someone who can do amazing ballads, do r&b, have diff dance styles. Concerts truly show so many sides of an artist and I’m so happy that you are one of the few who truly wants to get to know taemin🥺🥺
I’m feeling the same as you. I never thought any non family/friend would be in my heart, but Taemin is in there. I have to watch a video and listen to his music every day. I miss his constant new videos, vlives etc. There’s no one who can replace him while he’s gone. 😭

Taemin really has that gift of touching the emotion by his voice. I remember back when he was doing his Arena tour, a fellow Shawol and I, would listen to the live audio stream. I would asked what's happening and she would tell me that Shawols on the venue were crying when Taemin sang these ballads.
I love crying with Taemin… I knew beforehand that his absence will be very difficult for me and that he’ll leave a huge hole in my heart… But life put me into an even bigger test, because right after he left for military I lost the very person that was supposed to comfort me during his absence, the dearest, closest, most beloved person. Almost 1,5 month have passed and I’m slowly getting back to Taemin’s music to search comfort in it and in his beautiful voice and to cry, whenever I need to cry… Thank you for this vid Torsie, I wouldn’t mind if you checked Itsuka Kokode and Sekaide Ichiban Aishita Hito from the same concert as well. It’s a beautiful memory for me, cause I saw him perform this live twice and it was the most emotional concert experience of my life…

I honestly don't know how to handle Taemin's enlistment. I've been immersed in watching all of his concerts, listening to his discography, and watching older and newer content of him and all things SHINee. Maybe its because we just got SHINee back in 2021 and in a blink of an eye, we're right back to waiting another 2 years. It's very bittersweet. The only thing keeping me balanced right now is watching newer activities from Onew, Key, and Minho. I'm so appreciative by how much content we have collected in 2021 so far - my hard drive has been busy collecting. These men are working their butt off giving us so much to treasure. I'm still not over the Marie Claire/Estee Lauder photoshoot, and Onew killed me today on Sea of Hope. I pray/hope/wonder/yearn that in 2024, we get a world tour. I plan to attend as many shows as I can.
You need to listen "I think it's love". it is both insanely beautiful and sad song. Someone suggested that it was dedicated to fans as Taemin said he wanted to sing it together. Shawols really play a big role in his life, because he was so young when he debuted and has been on stage for so long, and the truth is, I don't know anyone who loves the stage like him.
