Watched other vids of the entire stream. Thor even said this isn't easy, guys like them are expensive, and he speculates that the current Respawn security team might be overwhelmed right now.

It's not like there wasn't enough money to higher more people for security. But instead they just layed off devs for the shareholder value.

Why do you guys think Thor would make any difference? His anti-cheat track record is banning 280k bots a year in World of Warcraft, and never even made a dent in that games cheating problem. In fact it was well known how much of a joke World of Warcraft cheating was and still is.
In CS valve bans upwards of 700k players a year.
Valorant bans 1.5M a year. There is a reason cheating is almost nonexistent there.
