You would love The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield. It’s the famous person telling their story to someone relatively unknown, and all the twists and turns of uncovering both of their histories. Definitely creepy vibes. One of my absolute faves.

The cover intrigued me, it's an unusual book with a spectacular ending, I highly recommend it!
