Spikeyhead will follow you, start running towards your position and fall down. (thanks to various commenters, I checked this and it works very well too!)

There's a free mangler axe if you climb up the roof where the flaming longsword guy was, enter Umbral, and walk across the spine that appears. Only need to farm one.

An easier and faster farming method is just by running past that spiky head enemy and going to the cliff making a fast 90 degree turn (or just jump of the cliff), the spiky head will jump of the cliff, then kick the other enemy and repeat :)

For strength monster, condemned is a better choice. Like the first 20 minutes might be more difficult, but you level up SO fast! I think I had 20 strength and 20 health before even half way through pilgrim!
Imo thats how pretty much every souls game is. Always best to choose the level 1 class. It's not even that bad in this, the buckets you get are pretty solid too.

@@reckless5834 okay I just looked it up, so base upgrade takes it to 214 total, before scaling, and it’s a quality weapon so if you pumped like 40 str and 40 agi I think it could be fairly strong! It only has a max of D scaling but it attacks pretty quick so I don’t see how it would necessarily be any worse than using a middle of the road sword you get in game… I wonder if you could buff it too for like poison or fire proc as well…
For the big guy at the end, you dont need to fight him. Run past him quickly and kick the sage off the edge. Stand in the same spot, and the big guy will rush you. Step out of the way at the last second, and he will run right off the edge, giving you experience. If you are playing online, this enemy could even give you the umbral stigmas if it killed another player recently.

In my experience, he often stops at the edge. However, if you have the bludgy boi, you can still slap him off anyway, run into the tunnel (ranged mobs bad) and grab the vitality with siphon.
even better, just run off the edge with him and you will spawn again in the undead realm with the 1.10x modifier and can pick up his souls for even more value. that and your respawn blowback will pushback the other minor mob off the ledge.

@@csoutherlandtook me about 1.5 hours but they do drop. When you rest near the first axe wielding dude keep running between that resting point and the next one (where you plant your own rest point) there is about 4 enemies wielding the axe. You’ll get two before you know it.

I'm doing alright with it but I feel like it isn't optimized as well as it could be. I'm sorta confused about all the stats, but I'm loving this game! It was rough in the beginning due to the fkn stuttering and frame drops during coop, but they just released a second patch today that seems to have gave it a bit more stability. I love that they are working around the clock to fix all the issues. Just hope they fix crossplay soon. Trying to play with my PS5 homies. 😭
Instead of fighting the spiky head guy just run past him and let him follow you off the ledge and then you'll be in umbral and can collect his souls and the cultist beside him that you blow off the ledge and it's a 1.10 multiplayer as well. Takes 20 seconds a run and then reset. You can get almost 1500 vigor (souls) every minute
Quick tip for farming in the same area mentioned in the video: You can run to the edge of and spike head will run behind you and fall, if he didn’t fall just charge R2 and he’ll, you can kill him in 15-20 seconds this way, even if he kills you you’ll revive and push him away.
How should I be statting the pyro. Total noob here...what should I be putting points into as I start this game I am awful at? (It took my like 10+ tries to kill Pietra)
Man, I am having terrible RNG with the Mangler Axe. I've killed the Mangler Elite and the Mangler up the road for the past hour and a half, and so far I've only gotten 2 capes LOL
I try say in good english, sorry for my bad english, ok i go: My friend, you are Wrong to defense stats in armors, and much streamers are wrong... The left stats, is mitigation of damage, i explain: When you show Hallowed Sentinel Armour, you see got 155 physical Mitigation, no say physical resistance. If one enemy made you 300 of damage, you recived 145, but if this phisical attack got bleed, or fire or poison, you no recived 145, you recived 145+300+(bleed, or freeze or poison damage). You one shot die. Or you got 3.000 life or you die. I recomended Wright stats upper than left. Hope i explain well
i just saw a video of someone defeating her, and they only got the arms from her and her flail. i killed her myself and only got the flail, so it seems it is random, what you are able to get from her
Lots of good info in here but wish you noted that the gear from scourged sister is random. I was going nuts because i didn’t have the helm. Turns out i got the stupid legs which don’t have good stats.
This massively missed the fact that the first boss peita is almost impossible to kill 😂 I’ve died around 150 times and I haven’t got her below half health yet, parrying is incredibly inconsistent and dodging doesn’t work either
Aura of Tenacity: can be found in the living quarters of skybridge tower hub in a book, the book is hidden behind some breakable boxes. Radiant Flare: can be purchased from the main guy in Skybridge.
Apparently it is. Scourged Sisters become normal enemies later. It may have a chance to drop from the boss version, but you're only guaranteed her flail and main outfit.
Though i was gonna love this game, but I don't. The umbral world sucks, is very annoying to figure out while time is ticking down and then the red eye kills you and you lose everything. Your exp, your time, and your patience.
Had high hopes for this game but the sloppy presentation and severe performance issues really disappoint. Case in point - the character creation is probably the worst I have ever seen

There's a Raw Mangler axe pickup in the redcopse village. If you want to dual wield you only need to farm 1
i cant lie you cannot get overpowered in this game, no matter how much damage you can do, there's always more of them

I did not know you could umbral sap those shielding parasites... was always entering the umbral world to deal with shielded mobs. 😅

The damage is always trash a guy dropped me a plus 10 pietra sword and the damage is still trash.
And the thorned sword has been replaced with an axe

You don't have to fight him for the farm. Just run past he'll follow you off the ledge and die. Rest. Rinse and repeat

inferno -> vitality -> endurance, in that order. Maybe prio vitality over inferno at the start if you're struggling.
