What will be cost of registration for MH Car Accord petrol . In Bengaluru. Model 2009 . Bengaluru cars are quoted at 5 lakhs and above , MH car is available with NOC in 3 lakhs . Please advise sadath sir
It almost comes close to the price of Bangalore car including road tax, small repairs or refurbishment cost etc.. better to buy it from Bangalore IMO..
Can we retain the old state number and still register in Karnataka. Eg continuing DL number even after getting re registration in Bengaluru and tax payment.
yes there is no issue if using old number plate even after paying Karnataka Road Tax, but there are chances cops stopping you for document verification which is unnecessary time consuming right..

It can be done imo, but it has lot of complexity converting a white board to yellow..u will have to pay lot of taxes

I don't see a problem here, maybe the previous noc was expired, so he is applying for a new noc, I suggest to look for a KA vehicle if you feel something fishy with the deal or u aren't satisfied with the process..
If you are buying from a dealer then they will usually take care of the process and handover you the car without any hassle..

you need to renew NOC, pay some penalty, rc transfer, Ka number plate, - i assume 20-22K you may have to spend..if FC not paid then atleast 13-15k fines for 25months + 7-8k FC + Green Tax 1-2k..

Ex-showroom price was between 5-10lakh, it falls under 14% Road Tax Category, so the road tax while purchasing new car was around 1.44Lakh.
As it is 10-15yr old it falls under 45%-25% category, so on an approximation if we calculate 30% of 1,44,000 is 50,000/- Road Tax & since he has valid NOC, RC Transfer and KA Number approx 10k, so you should be spending about 50,000 + 10,000/- i.e. 60K +/- approximately to transfer it to KA!

In that case you can apply for address change in RTO and you can use it for 11months..and if you plan to stay more than 11 months then you need to pay Road tax in Karnataka..
you need to get NOC from the state where the car has been registered and apply for change of address in Karnataka RTO..

If you are working in Gujarat, you can buy there itself right? There is huge difference in Road tax if purchased in Bangalore..

if you are working in any IT company and your office has multiple branches all over India, you can apply for BH series number plate. That would be beneficial in future!
