- Game Producer Swann talks about the world of Stray, as well as what to expect with gameplay and characters you'll come across as a cat. Coming early 2022 to PS5 and PS4.
Lost, alone and separated from family, a stray cat must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten city.
Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set amidst the detailed neon-lit alleys of a decaying cybercity and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly. Roam surroundings high and low, defend against unforeseen threats and solve the mysteries of this unwelcoming place inhabited by nothing but unassuming droids and dangerous creatures.
See the world through the eyes of a stray and interact with the environment in playful ways. Be stealthy, nimble, silly, and sometimes as annoying as possible with the strange inhabitants of this foreign world.
Along the way, the cat befriends a small flying drone, known only as B12. With the help of this newfound companion, the duo try to find a way out.
Stray is developed by BlueTwelve Studio, a small team from south of France mostly made of cats and a handful of humans. - เกม

Since the day i learned this game exists, i literally can't wait for release. I wasn't this hyped for a game in years. I'm so glad they decided to make something out of the box. This game is just perfect for me as it combines my two most favorite things - cats and sci-fi. Doesn't get more perect than this. I hope this game will be a big success.

The atmosphere of this game kinda reminded me to the atmosphere from Killzone Shadow Fall, a 10 year old PS4 Exclusive game.

We need publishers push more of these original ideas and gamers support and buy these original and risky takes from Developers. We are far too dependant on soulless easy cashgrab copy games like FIFA etc. were there's little to zero innovation going on. This is fresh air for gamers and I love it. Day 1 must buy!

I REEEEEAAAALLY hope they can add every single cat mannerism as possible like purring and rubbing against something for affection, needing the furniture, meowing sometimes, smacking small toys with their paw, observing stuff, and so so much more

Artistically, the environments look like they've come straight from the concept art, which is awesome. These environments also have some incredibly global illumination for a cross-gen game.

the enviroment is beautifully cyberpunkish dystopia, which for those of you that don't know, whenever you see this type of enviroment, it is directly influenced from one place and one place only: Hong Kong. i know that many of my fellow americans are ignorant of what hong kong even is lol but i always see others assuming these types of places are "obviously new york city inspired" when uhHHHHH LOL NOT EVEN CLOSE! go look up kowloon, hong kong, look up the walled city to finally see how this type of enviroment we've seen in countless cyberpunk locations, has it's roots set in reality lol

I NEED the soundtrack from this trailer.. The sudden deep drops make me feel dread, yet the introduction of more elements start to give me a feeling of new hope, or new beginnings, I love it! New beginnings in a dreadful place, yep, sounds like Stray.

Fun Pimps for example, I haven't seen such passion for video games and video game development, so sick and tired of big developers like CD Project, the little guys care and deserve our money, Snake pass is another one with great mechanics, Fast RMX is the F Zero We been wanting, don't need to mention the success of Minecraft and Mojang
excited to see more creative ideas like this as Unreal Engine allows game development to be more streamlined.
You know what would be cool? If they make an online version and you can go around with your friends in a little cat gang
And you would have missions to do, such as get food. One of you acts as a distraction to a food vendor and the others grab food for you and the gang.

Those are pretty impressive graphics for just playing as a cat.
That's why you can have graphics like this. The game isn't taxing on the console as much because it's not much fast pace movement lol

@@btrack8299 I would say PC has way more games and you can adjust settings more. With that being said, from my understanding a game can run better on a console if it's optimized better. It just depends on the game. PC is awesome. So is Xbox and PS. Its all in what you prefer.

Simple, yet so brilliant. Who doesn't want (or wanted to) to be a cat? Playing from a cat perspective is a new, hope I can play it in some future.
A game that you bring to another world that you gonna make you feel lonely, silence, emotional but somehow a lovely feeling :)

Well to be expected, as cats are a common pet. There is a lot of resources on their bodies, from how they move, their skeleton structure and mannerisms. So it is only a question of why it took so long.

@@-TheMaskedMan- Given that the premise of this game is that your Cat character is the only biological species within this dystopian city and the rest are robots, you are not going to see the “ realities “ of being a Stray animal.
I hope this games long, because I can just tell by looking at it I'm gonna want to play if forever.
