Nice video and comments on the TB4! Just curious if you made any changes to the bike since you posted this video? I am in the process of building up the same frame and same color with a 140mm fork (Fox 34 w/GRIP2 damper) and a 50mm stem. Out of curiousity, what size frame did you go with and how tall are you? I went with an XL and I'm 190cm tall. I'm hoping the 50mm stem compensates for the reduction in reach due to the 140mm fork. I did a demo ride at the Santa Cruz factory with the original spec of 130/120 travel which had a 42mm stem which I felt made for a small cockpit. I immediately thought a 50mm stem would be needed. I agree with you too, the rear travel definetely feels like more than 120mm!
Thanks! im 177cm, 30-31 inch inseam, running 780mm wide bars, 140mm fork. i went for the large frame, initially i had 35mm stem length but the bike felt cramp and the weight distribution felt way off, i swapped to a 50mm stem and the bike feels amazing. i would suggest running the bike with at least a 50mm stem in your case
