Starting on a Friday? Oof! That'll be a weird day haha. I always watch your teacher videos despite not being a teacher because it fascinates me! In Australia, public schools always started on a Monday and private schools always on a Tuesday. We also had a "sports day" through high school but it was a lot more athletic (olympic style sports) and competitive with ribbons given out and points for our school houses!
The planner turned out beautiful! Love that desert washi!
We’ve already decided the real first day is Monday. We’re just doing paperwork and handing out their laptops and all that on that Friday. It’ll be weird though!
That sports day sounds fun! (Not for me to participate in though. No athletic abilities over here.) We do a field day at the end of school but it’s just for fun.
I love the idea of using the Year Plan pages for "Good Things" and I plan to set that up in my planner today! Also, love the slashes of color for the headers, much quicker than coloring in the entire box as I've been doing. I always enjoy your videos and am so inspired after seeing one! Thank you, keep up the beautiful work.

I also did a complete switch in my planner and went with the 7x9 size. I love it so far! And I love those neutral colored highlighters you're using. They compliment the overall planner vibe really well. 🤗🤍🤎

Love tombow brush markers on the subject headings! I just bought the EC undated teacher’s planner from Target and will be buying a second one to combine the two as I use two columns per day (one for the day’s schedule and another column for to do’s. As a result, it’ll take two weekly spreads for one week. Using the brush markers will help me decorate with adding the sticker bulk and keeping the columns tied together. Thanks for sharing! 💕💕

Comparing my 7x9 LifePlanner to the 7x9 Lesson planner I realized that the EC Event stickers would fit on my focus TLP so I ordered those in the color scheme I wanted with the class title and they fit PERFECTLY as subject stickers.
Yes! I love that the columns are the standard 1.5 inches. It opens up the sticker possibilities!
You could for the good memory pages, instead of June it could be you’re top favorite memories at the end of the year, as a final reflection?

Nope! But I am an instructional tech coach at a fully at-risk and alternative school. I do some admin duties, but spend most of the time with the teachers and kids.
I am in love with the Darth Vader academic planner. So I am thinking of using it as my teacher planner. I would love your feedback if this is doable.
It could totally work! Check out @graysplan on IG! Eiyana has used it in the past as a teacher so you could see an example.
Very interesting 😍would like to know what subject you teach and what does an instructional coach do?
I teach social studies, World History the past few years. An instructional coach helps teachers with whatever they need. I purchase and manage programs, help with test prep and lesson plans, do trainings, stay up on current trends, etc.

I am really intrigued. We don't have that role in South Africa, I am 46 and my passion have always been Coaching, Mentoring and Teaching. I always WANT to color code, but then that color pen runs away from home or something when later I need to add something with that color. How do you store “current colors” away from all your other supplies?
I have a little pencil case (you can kind of see it in the video) but it stands up like a cup. It’ll be convenient because I can keep it upright on my desk at school but then zip it up and take it home when I need to.
I didn't see a link for the name sticker vendor. I looked at the According to Ali web page and couldn't find them. Any suggestions?
She only offers the personalized name stickers a couple times a year. I would follow her on IG to see when she does them again! 😄
How did you the meetings notebook bound like that? I don’t see the option
Their website is a little tricky. Go to notebooks, then stitch notebooks, then personalized notebooks. Choose your size and then the meetings layout is listed under Explore Layouts and then Lifestyle.
