Slime, Algae, and Lots of Weeds (Silver Lake)

First time going to silver lake. I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about this place. So didn’t really have high expectations. The grass near the docks was thick and slimy all over the entire lake. There was a lot of algae floating in the water, so it was dirty yet crystal clear at the same time. Not exactly great conditions. To top it all off, I had camera issues all day. Just how it goes sometimes. Still caught some bass so I can’t complain to much.

Skipped the tournament and the fishing was even worse that day. I think only 15 ppl out of 40 something got a limit. Lake is tough. It’s so small and gets a lot of pressure too.
