Last one was impressive as f***. Eric Moussambani is his name and he only taught himself how to swim that same year. First time in a 50m olympic swimming pool and manages to get the slowest lap time whilst winning the race

@@kalebross8795 no, usually these compilations only have the most well known sports in them (football, basketball, baseball and occasionally tennis and hockey), not badminton, table tennis, ice skating and swimming.
@@aclonymous those are all well known sports in the video though. Like most are in the Olympics and if not then I’m sure u had to do it in gym class at least once

6:31 there’s actually a story about that one, he was raised in Africa and he didn’t know how to swim so he taught himself, he loved swimming he couldn’t do it well but he tried, then he got picked for the Olympics. The other two went too early so they were disqualified making him one of the slowest Olympic swimmers in the books

The best thing about the ice skating one with the Australian is the same thing happened in the earlier heats so it happened to him twice and he ended up with gold
