Thats very philosophical, but I didn't say he must have a fulfilled life. I just pointed out that he is probably in posession of a sh**tone of money, but nevertheless seems to be a nice guy. Which was a pleasant surprise.
Zylo Thecat You own the power to do what every you want in life, and the money to support it.
Money doesn't make you happy, it's the things you can do with it that do.
It's up to you to make the best of it.
He is at a point where he can go hang out with other nerds, play table top games, join a band.... How many big business CEOs do you know that take time to do silly things like that?
Mike Morhaime has definetly designed gnomes faces by looking at the mirror. Hes a gnome irl! I bet he did the gnome voices and the gnome's dance as well.

This is really mind boggling. Mike is truly a Renaissance Man. Do a Power of the Horde search on You Tube for the performance. It's pretty good.

He plays his own games? :D That's how you know theyre good. You can spend all day at work stressing out over details about these sort of things, and then when you come home you still choose it to relax too. :D
That's Tsuro, a board game which was featured on an earlier episode of Tabletop.
They wanted to focus on production this year so there was no time for it. They're having one next year.

This guy is one of the very, very few reasons I still hold any respect for Blizz. And those who claim that all the fault lies at the activison, grow up. Yes they did force a lot of shitty stuff upon Blizz, but there was a lot of collaboration on Blizz end as well.
primal rage was the first blizzard game i ever played. wish they would make a primal rage 2.

Take a look at Torchlight II... 20$ games, launch on 20th September, 6 players per games, 4 classes, 21 active skills/9 passive skill per class.Skill/Stats distribution, skills upgrade after each 5 skills, Engineer has Machine Gun, gets Triple shot lvl 5, Ricochet lvl 10 and Pierce lvl 15 so it triple shot, ricochet and pierce. 100 Level cap. Limited respect (respect last 3 lvls)

it's near impossible to have a good end game in a game like diablo at launch. it takes players to test it and then they need to patch it. they released it before it was ready because they realized that releasing it is the best and fastest way to test it and fix it.
I wonder what league he's in on the SC2 ladder...

how could you not like Blizzard? that's so weird. they are absolutely unique in the kind of quality they bring, aren't they? who else would shut down 4 year project with almost-ready-to-be-released game just because it is not "blizzard quality"? talking about starcraft ghost. I mean, you've got to appreciate that.

Blizzard is the motherfucking god of video games. They could only release shit from now on, doesn't matter, their history alone is enough to make them the best video game developer of all time.
If you watch the episode it seemed like he made everyone feel kind of awkward... because he's awkward. Nothing against his obvious genius, but he does seem pretty socially awkward, haha. At least he's not a prick like Bill Prady though.
It doesn't mean that he doesn't like Diablo 3 since he said "Right now I'm playing StarCraft2 and World of Warcraft" not something like: HELL YEAH I'M PLAYING SC2 AND WoW, Diablo 3 SUCKS!..
