Are they true to size? I wear a 13 in sneakers and boots but there is always that chance, ya know? I ordered a pair of these boots last night in a 13.

Hi I'm in love with these boots. My only concern so they sure are waterproof right? Would you recommend me these boots knowing that I will be hiking in pour rainy conditions? Please your opinion will help me tons! Thank you!

They are very waterproof provided you do not submerge the boot over the top. That was my only problem when testing them. They do dry out quickly if you happen to submerge them though.

They are waterproof no protected with Gore-tex, so you are good if they get wet because they will dry faster, having said that I would never take them for a long period on the trails because the sole is not that rigid or with deep grooves in them. More of a walking boot for weekend backpackers...just saying!. I have a pair so opinion based on experience.

These look durable! How many miles would a pair last before replacement?

I have about 800 rough miles on them and they are still going strong. I will let you know when they wear out. They have become my favorite canyoneering boot and I use GPS to log my trips. - DK

I think I pretty much hit the high points. Still wearing them in canyons 6 months later and they are still very comfortable. - DK

@@Sportsmans_Warehouse Good to hear, thanks for replying. Great review, I was joking, covered more than I wanted, got myself a pair. 25% import tax on top to Scotland took me by surprise though, whats that all about! All the best, Tony

@@Tonywozere99 Hey Tony, have you done the West Highland Way in these by chance? I bought a pair to try...last time I did it I was in a pair of Asolo goretex boots and they destroyed my feet so I'm hoping these will be kinder.

@@Floki1624 hi there, no I haven't floki but have traipsed a lot in them round Wester Ross and South Downs Very lightweight and comfy, waterproof too, can recommend. I've been in Inverness a and e with blisters from hell, docs advice was to compeed up my heels before walking and use talc, good advice, I have one foot smaller than other which rubs a bit. Hoping to do Skye Trail this year, hounds of howgate got a good report on this. ATB.

I actually don't agree with the appraisal of the Danner Mountain 600. Those boots are not made of hard work never like the Salomon Quest, Keen Targhee, Diemme, Meindl, Aloso, Alico. Yes they have no breaking time, yes they are soft and fun to walk with but would never take them on a long hard hiking trail.

I have taken them over some serious terrain, including the bottom of Zion's Subway and Russell's Gulch carrying a 60 pound pack with a wetsuit, and wet ropes, and they performed beautifully. - DK
