- My 20-year-old naturally gaited Tennessee Walking Horse and I have been together for 17 years. Dressage has been our method to develop natural smooth gaits as extended walk, flat footed walk, flat walk and running walk. Dressage has improved her stride length, evenness of stride, and evenly timed four beat gaits.
