The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is the premier late night talk show on CBS, airing at 11:35pm EST, streaming online via CBS All Access, and delivered to the International Space Station on a USB drive taped to a weather balloon. Every night, viewers can expect: Comedy, humor, funny moments, witty interviews, celebrities, famous people, movie stars, bits, humorous celebrities doing bits, funny celebs, big group photos of every star from Hollywood, even the reclusive ones, plus also jokes.
I saw this interview live from the stage and I can tell you it took nearly 20 minutes to get that story out of him. He was overwhelmed with stage fright but Colbert was having the time of his life leading him through it. At the end Colbert told the audience he loved that interview with a huge sincere grin. It was the highlight of the show from a live perspective. By the moment Colbert told him none of this will go on the air it had been more than 10 minutes. They really had to chop this one down.

best part about this is he is so genuine that people who have maybe never even heard of the show probably loved this guy and began watching the show
What makes this not cringey but incredibly fascinating is that I know this would be EXACTLY me if I ever had to do this.
First time we actually see it from the perspective of a normal human. Gives "breaking the fourth wall" vibes.
Usually this kind of interview is just too painful to watch but somehow I couldn’t stop smiling. He wears awkward/nervous so well

This seriously made me whole freaking day. It’s so easy to see how sweet and genuine a guy he is so quickly. I’m always so happy see people like that break through, and Greg is the role of a lifetime for him.

This was probably my favorite Colbert interview of all time. Love Nicholas. He’s so likable and this was genuinely a funny laugh out loud interview beginning to end. Hope to see more of him.

He's the John Snow of Waystar Royco
Greg taking over Royco and becoming CEO does not fit the show theme at all. That would make no sense and ruin the dynamic of the entire series. He will never be CEO, but he WILL continue to work his way up by failing upwards because Greg is smart and conniving, more than he perceives to be. Hes the underdog were all rooting for, but i can guarantee he will never be ceo. The writers would never go for that, and tbh would ruin the entire series. His character is not suitable for an executive level position.
@@juules215 i get what you mean they never made Peggy Olsen creative director in mad men and when she did it was with another agency and she didn’t like it that much. I think it would end with him being in a good position in the company but it will leave it up to the audience to think where he will end up next.

i have a friend who tells stories like this, and it is such a treat.
Succession is an example of how important acting is. Without this outstanding cast the show would a boring soap opera, even the "guests" (e.g. Pierce family) are fantastic.
Braun is like a drippingly charming, deceptively naive 21st century Ichabod Crane. He'll be huge (no pun intended).

Just finished watching the show, 2 seasons, was wondering all the time how fun it must have been for the actor to act as Greg, pretend to be someone else.
