Puccini; Madama Butterfly Scenes with Juyeon Song

Juyeon Song portrayed the essence of Madama Butterfly in this Performance. It is hard to imagine a more convincing Cio Cio San.
Juyeon has developed in recent years under the guidance of Helden Tenor and Opera Director Claude Heater who, along with his role of Jesus in the film Ben Hur with Charlton Heston, has sung opposite Nilsson, Rysanek, Jones, Varnay, Tebaldi, Caballe, brought Juyeon from a lyric soprano to the dramatic repertoire. She has sung Aida with great success along with Turandot and is completing her Wagner repertoire of Venus, Brunnhilde, Isolde, Kundry along with Salome. Her first Wagner concert of the Venus scene from Tannhauser and the Tristan love duet will take place in Germany in June of 2012 followed by concerts in the Czech Republic, Italy, and Norway.
