Every time a landfall deck misses a land drop like that tatyova deck did, I think about someone I played magic with once who ran 30 lands in his landfall commander deck
The lowest amount of lands I ever ran in a deck was 28 and that was only because it had 10 mana rocks mana value 2 or less and every mana dork that cost 1 mana. Would not recommend otherwise. Deck was explosive though kinda had to be for competitive commander.
I quite enjoy playing broken commanders against each other in small doses, you can just queue up with weaker ones if you are looking for variety. I do agree people concede more than they should in this format, though.
@@Icameron259 Not sure if people are conceding early because the broken commanders snowball really fast. If people play enough games they should know what is going to happen after a round or two. Tiny chances of coming back in my opinion.
Play a broken commander - get matched against broken commanders. Play an “off-meta” commander - only get matched against a broken commander 1 in every 10 games or so.
I really like the look of this deck! It's a shame Historic Brawl limits you to 100 cards, I would love to throw even more cool stuff in there, I bet I can think of at least a couple dozen or more I'd add!
@@phaiag1727 dang that sucks, imo jeskai narset shouldnt be in same tier as golos. Muldrotha is my pet and while the prismatic bridge is manageable since im running a fair amount of enchantment removal, i just cannot keep up with golos’ etb trigger but luckily those matchups are rare
I've been running Yarrok Value, been having loads of fun in historic brawl! I will say, I'm sure you have a reason, but I usually run one of the dual tap-land snow lands for Into the North. Love the deck - Love the Content!

I don't play Historic since I only joined Arena less than a year ago. One think I notice and surprises me: lots more cards have unique animations than we do now. Even the tri lands: why is it that older tri lands have animations and New Capenna ones don't?

I can't stand playing the bridge in brawl because the opponents always have the removal for it and it isnt aggressive early. I prefer tiamat for card advantage amd its good to discard the treasure dragon from full hand and revive it with the other dragon to get it in play for free, attack and play anotger dragon with the treasures.

I would never even run fewer than 36 in a deck, even if it wasn't very mana hungry-more or less a landfall deck.

Pretty much what I expected from Historic Brawl: mirror matches from broken commanders and people auto conceding after a few plays
It's not at all like this: if you use not-so broken commanders you can have fun.

My favourite commander is the Ikoria Jeskai Narset, and it puts me in the same pool as this video - Esika, Golos, Kinnan for days.

I instantly concede to the bridge every time it shows up in Brawl. I'm surprised they nerfed Fires of Invention but didn't touch Bridge
The fires of invention nerf has nothing to do with historic brawl. The prismatic bridge is hardly playable in any other format
I play Narset of the Ancient Way in this format and I get matched against the bridge or Golos multiple. times. a. day. It hurts >.

They are in different tiers of matchmaking to my knowledge. But I agree that bridge is mediocre among the best ones.
