Loving this content so far. Found you by searching for Geist tips and I am here to stay for it all! Any chance you'd be willing to share some of the keybinds you use in this game? There seems to be a lot of choices and curious of your take on em ~
I would like to see you commentate your game while playing at the same time. It might be hard to juggle explaining what you're doing, and using coms if that is something you do. I think hearing high elo coms would be helpful for newer people like me. I think a video or a topic that should be brought up is when one should go for the Urn. I haven't gone for it yet because I'm still learning and trying to get comfortable playing the game.
@@jeremyhicks4517 thanks for the suggestion. I'll try to detail urn in a future video. For now I'd say you usually go for urn when you have map control or enough teammates that will help you fight for the turn in
I think replay reviews are good. Ones like the paradox gameplay review would be good to see for other characters. Would love to see a playing from behind replay as well in terms of key decisions to make a comeback happen.
great video learned a lot, im a new player could you give some advice about jungleing and clearing neutral creep camps? i think that would make for a good video
The weapons don’t feel projectile to me. If they were projectile then wouldn’t I need to lead my shots quite a bit at different distances? I have not had to do that. I think I even tested that on the running bot in the sandbox with Ivy. I held the trigger down in front of bot and bullets never landed unless crosshair was on target iirc. Viscous and Yamato right click are obviously projectiles that you have to actually lead the shot, but a lot of stuff feels hitscan to me. At least with aim. Do they ever mix the two mechanics where your aim still needs to be on model/hurtbox but there is a delay in the travel time of the bullet? Is that what this game is doing? I gotta test now when I get home. I never felt a delay really besides the two obvious characters I mentioned.
@@AresGod0fWar I believe it's all projectile, but yes the projectiles travel fast. The tier 1 item High Velocity Bullets help everything feel even more hitscan and is a bit overpowered in lane because it makes denying and last hitting easier versus someone who doesn't have it
The discord has a curated list of high MMR replays and who plays in those games. There's also now some unofficial sites such as tracklock.gg and deadlocktracker.gg tracking stats and estimating MMR. The only official way to know at this point is how high your game is on the watch list. When you click watch in game, the list is sorted by MMR
actually, i think i found your build. it says "superior cooldown on your bomb" yet it isnt in the build, which isnt a huge deal cause i can just buy it but just wanted to let you know! also thanks for this content it has helped a lot

All the weapons are projectiles. If you head to the sandbox you will see what each hero's bullet velocity is when you shoot at the moving target dummy
