The Amos Bursary Global Challenges Conversation with His Excellency President John Kufuor

Continuing our Community Conversations on Global Challenges, we were
privileged to sit down to an intimate reception with Ghana’s 2nd President of the 4th Republic, His Excellency John Kofi Agyekum Kufuor.
Coined Ghana's Gentle Giant, he discussed with an intimate gathering of Amos Bursary students and alumni the regional challenges facing the African continent and its position on the world stage, expertly responding to our enquiring minds with facts, practical steps and hope.
Subjects covered included:
"How will Ghana and the Ivory Coast use their plans to reduce raw cocoa exports to further develop the region?"
"How can the younger African generation get more involved in politics in a system ‘ruled by elders’?"
