Becky! How have I used Silhouette Studio since October 2018 and NOT know about image effects panel! And I thought I was getting pretty good at Studio! To be fair, I've only used photos in Studio since December when you dragged me into sublimation! :) That is why I had to find my PhotoShop Elements 9 and loaded it into my fairly new computer just hoping it would work! The main feature I needed was to be able to lighten photos of my black and tan Dachshunds so they wouldn't print as a black blob on sublimation paper. Lighten, contrast and tint are the main features I needed and Studio, I now have BE, has it and I didn't know it until just hours after you posted this video. Now if only Studio would have a way to "dissolve" or "feather" edges in photos, I'd love it. I prefer NOT to have straight edges in photos that I'm sublimating on shirts, mugs and water bottles. I really like the "dissolve" edges I can get in PhotoShop. but works better for me if I can print from Studio. Dissolve and feathered edges just look so much better to me. Hey Tawanna, the basic edition is completely free, you only pay when you decide to upgrade. The Designer Edition (approx. $25-30) is what most crafters use. Hope this helps! ---Becky

Maybe you can help I’m very new to all of this , I can’t figure out how to size anything to print the size I want it to , for example I buy the design bundles then go to print in different programs that I’m trying to figure out and can not find where to size things at
Hey Lucille, each program that you use should have the option to tell you what size the image is. I personally use Silhouette Studio and when you select the image, the size should be listed on the top toolbar. Hope this helps! ---Becky
@@DesignBundles lol well I just also camo 4 do we shall see when I buy a design I guess I thought it would be like for example a 20oz just print out and it’s the perfect size but I guess not so I struggle with getting things size correctly , love your videos and I’m trying to learn not done anything with the cameo yet. Is there a reason why image effects does nothing at all. I have business edition. I can literally change green tint on a green down -100 nothing happens. I can increase saturation nothing happens i do anything in image effects NOTHING HAPPENS i press apply its almost like its not applying. Ive restarted. Relogged in everything NOTHING.

When you hit apply the settings go to zero. Does this mean these are the new saved settings or does it reset each time?

@@DesignBundles i dont see anything. No window pops up nothing. The colours stay exactly the same the apply button doesnt work it changes nothing.
