… was so excited about this. I followed your directions and was successful. Here’s my problem. When I try to send the finished product to the back or the front of a plain circle - it won’t work. The circle won’t go to the back either. PLEASE HELP!!
Hmmm. Im not sure what would be causing that. Is the rest of the program frozen also, or just that function?

Hey there I just downloaded this file and followed instructions! It seems that when I click subtract all it just cuts out a square around the splatter instead of cutting it out. Helpppp please!

This video is very helpful but I had to buy the blurred designs, and second when I go to slice like in the video it is not working. What am I doing wrong?
Is it possible you have more programs running than your system can handle? Sometimes with more complex processes, that can cause silhouette studio to freeze. I would try shutting down whatever else you have running to free up memory for studio.

No, but having designer edition or above and being able to import the SVG makes it a little easier. :)
After purchasing this bundle am I downloading the SVG file? Because it is opening up in Google and I'm not able to open it into my silhouette. By the way this video is PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes, it is an SVG. you need to first unzip the folder after you download, and then, go to File-> open, in silhouette studio and then navigate to the SVG you want to use. I can show you how to unzip a folder. do you use a PC, or a mac?
@@SimplySarah_MadeEasy I have a pc. I tried the png and it works but like you said in the video it is horrible. 😝 I’ll try tomorrow after work to do it the way you said and let you know. I’ve been struggling in a memorial cup for a friend I want to gift her with and this may be my go to now. I’m debating on a reverse water slide that I spray white paint lightly OR printable vinyl. I’m going to try the printable vinyl first but again this is amazing!!!!
I love this! I've downloaded the files, svg and when i use convert to path it deletes the center of the black circle and just leaves a trace of spots around the edge. I tried to select all and make it one image but when I subtract all it's taking forever and I don't know if it will complete the process. Any ideas?
When you upload the SVG, you don't need to convert to path :)
Well unfortunately you can not use this bundle in silouhette basic. So if that's all you have don't buy it. Make sure you read all of the descriptions in all of the products the Design Bundels come from because not all of them work in alot of basic software.
Hi, It looks like you are having trouble using a product. It isn't an issue with the product that silhouette studio basic edition does doesn't open SVG files. That is basic edition software. If you are able, I would recommend upgrading to business edition. You will have much more functionaity available to you.
Where did you find the bundle I can't find the link
I just found this video and purchased the file and I'm also not able to open the SVG. I have Basic edition....not sure if that's the problem. The error says "The file type you are attempting to access is not supported". If anyone has found a way to open, please let me know.
Basic version can't read SVGs. You will need to upload the PNG and trace it.

I know this thread is old, but I don't know who else to ask. I used this tutorial long ago. Got the files. Have done it several times last year. I am going to use the files and do it today & it's not working. The svg's won't open in Silhouette anymore. (Yes, I have design edition and other svg's are opening fine) I tried the png files which I used successfully before & they aren't a ton of little files - it's a single one with a box frame, so when I subtract all it just subtracts a large square. I even re-downloaded the files and tried that. Any ideas???
Hmmm. that is so strange! Im not sure why that would happen. if you use the PNG, you would need to trace it. let me see what happens if I upload the svg if it works for me.
I just redownloaded so I definitely have the same file version as you and i had no trouble opening the SVG (I tried 2 and both opened). What happens when you open it?

Once I get to the last subtract all my silhouette studio business edition freezes. Have you run across this? It won’t do the last subtract all.

I purchased the files and the svgs are not working. I think they are Google Draw documents instead. It also says the file is empty.
Hmm. Are you sure you are selecting the right file? SVGs sometimes show as "Chrome HTML" depending on your file associations.

Hi, i'm using a mac computer and when I try to merge the design in silhouette studio, all i get is the zip file that is greyed out, any suggestions on how to fix this?
You have to unzip the folder . This is how you unzip on a mac designbundles.net/design-school/opening-zip-file-mac
Got a question, I’m just learning to use silhouette studio , I tried warping text today and saving it cricut(Svg) but the warp effect didn’t carry over, what do I need to do?
I would trace it into a vector image, and then delete the original

@@janetmenchyk9778 I always trace text, as a rule, or convert to path. If you ever make an SVG that will be used by someone one else who does not have the same don't installed , you will need to anyway, so I just always do to avoid any issue. :)

I went and got this bleach bundle and tried this but I when I click “subtract all”, it makes a box around the bleach effect instead of just subtracting the shape. What am I doing wrong? :/
Make sure you are uploaded the SVG or the PNG. It sounds like you have uploaded a JPG

You can also use the trace tool on a png
Hi Amber. I made this tutorial a but ago, I'm not sure which part you are referencing. you can use the trace tool to trace shapes from a Png. Is that what you are referring to? :)

How do you cut this on a Cameo 3 on A-Sub
You don't have to cut this. Print and press :)

There’s also 16 images in the bundle all named the same thing. So you’d have to open every one to find the one your looking for. And not an easy task to rename them. That part is on Design Bundles not you but worth noting 😑
You can go into the PNGs to view them to easily choose the one you want. PNGs have thumbnail images :)
