Tommy and I are back out there looking for retro nostalgia treasures at Flea Markets in todays episode! We see all kinds of things that bring us straight back to our childhoods! I do however break my #1 toy and game hunting rule but its all in an effort to add amazing pieces to the collection. Always on the hunt for retro games, vintage toys and 80s / 90s nostalgia at Flea Markets, Antique & Thrift Stores and Garage Sales! Your channel and content is so wholesome. Like, I hope you don't take offense to this..because for me, it's genuinely wonderful - these retro hunting (and $5 game collection) videos are the perfect 'background watching' content for me. I'll pull them up when I need something to watch but nothing sounds interesting, and every time it just feels like a good time. I dunno if it's your narration, the editing, just the sheer genuine excitement you have for the hunt, or what (probably a bit of all of that), but please keep doing what you're doing.
Perfect Strangers holds up. A great show to watch with the family. My daughters loved it. Skip the last season though

Flea Markets around where I live have all already turned into crappy resale plazas. No one sells garage sale type items anymore. It's all cheap knockoff household items that are brand new from China. That's probably how they'll all be eventually.
Scavenger hunt item- expert level: anything clear colored plastic ex. Atomic purple controller, clear plastic dial up phone etc.

I've had my Urkel pull string since I was a kid. I bought gizmo a little while back. Let me be the first to tell you there is a E.T. Furby. Also in my collection 😂
My absolute favourite Xmas film is the muppet Christmas Carol, because my dad when I was little and he was 15-20 years younger looked like Micheal Cain ( Scrooge ) and my dad is just as tight with money 🤣
Dude, my parents still have the '67 Battleship game! In 10 years flea markets will be nothing but all the stuff we left behind today that we didn't want. I would have picked up those Star Wars Novels, as a Star Wars fan those were FIRE.

As a Norwegian who grew up in the eighties I have to tell you that our Christmas movies were mostly cheap ones bought from Eastern Europe. A lot of people my age and younger likes to point to Tri orísky pro Popelku ("Tre nøtter til Askepott" was the Norwegian title. Internationally it is also known as Three Wishes for Cinderella and broadcast in the UK under the title Three Gifts for Cinderella) The movie was a collaboration between East-Germany and Czechoslovakia. The version we used to get was dubbed poorly. The original language track was low in the mix and the was this older Norwegian guy that did all the voices. The result was that all the characters sounded alike and it felt like he read a book. I hated that movie then, and I don't like it now.
Every other christmas we sometimes got a rerun of "From all of us to all of you", the Disney Christmas special made in 1958. Every now and then we got some other Disney stuff, but as a kid we felt that we didn't get enough of that Disney goodness. My favorite childhood Christmas thing was and still is the low budget "Chronicles of Narnia" series covering 4 of the books.

Gremlins and Die hard are some of my favorite xmas movies, of coarse Jingle all the way is up there also.
My Little Ponies have the date on the bottom of their feet. I always pick up the vintage ones when I find them for a decent price. Some can be worth quite a bit on their own or you can group them into larger lots.
Things to spot at flea markets: brown glass ashtray, Sealed Jesus vhs tapes, 80s alarm clocks, Titanic double vhs
Make the scavenger hunt items into spots on a bingo card. Make up about half a dozen bingo cards. Shuffle them and draw a card every time you go to a flea market. Then play bingo while hunting.
I use those plastic cases for beanie babies for my vintage Masters of the Universe figures. If those beanies were $5 ea and had the cases, I would have bought them, kept the cases, and gave the beanies to one of those programs where police, emt's, and first responders give stuffed animals to frightened children involved in whatever the situation is that they are responding to.
The comic book rack alone is worth 🤑💰

Gizmo. Funny story about ordering toys and games online.. As kid I always wanted a 90's talking plush Pikachu tried looking at my Local department store in 1999 it was around 40 bucks for it new I asked my parents to get it for me they said no.. when I turned 10 I got enough birthday money to buy one but sadly they discontinued them... 😭. So later on when I became an adult I decided to buy one from eBay it surprisedly it wasn't too expensive ☺️. I love it!

One of my local Flea Markets has that Urkel in the box. It's been sitting there on the shelf for at least 6 months now. It's $60. It also has the same problem about saying words too fast.
When Tommy said American kids are talking with British accents from peppa pig. My daughter speaks with americanisms. Ie store(shop) candy(sweets) back yard(garden) buckle up(seat belt) sidewalk(path) trash can(bin) 😂😂, she’ll fit in at Disney world next year (covid allowing)

I tried buying them but the guy told me they had to be processed and it would take a few days to get to the shelves. Unfortunately I live in another town and didnt get a chance to go back.

Fun idea for every time you go to a flea market like this one, you should have like a bingo going for what you'll see. You could put M&M Merchandise, Beanie Babies, or whatever on it and try to get a bingo! I just think it would be a fun idea! Love the video!

You saw things from the 60's and the 90's which are 60 and 30 years ago. 10+ in the future there will still be the same sort of things now as well as the phases of physical products that do still exist. I saw some PSP and WiiU games in a charity shop today.

Bummer you didn't get anything at the flee market but at least there was some cool things to look at. Love the Steve urkil boxed and furby. Tendo just for one of those sent to him on his birthday live stream. Buying things on the internet, every now and then isn't a bad thing. I go after certain things on there as well. Get a few things then leave it for a while. Great job with the vid Rick! 👊

The comic spinner rack also has slots for open trading card packs from box. That’s why there’s Donruss , Upper Deck … those are famous card companies back in the day.
